Today was the first day of our new quarantine. The state of California had a new law saying no shops other than grocery stores could open. There were rebellions that stayed open as the covid cases continued to rise. However, I was enjoying my quarantine because of what happened with my parents.
*flashback to 3 weeks ago*
"Honey, we are traveling to Hawaii" my mom stated. Her and my new step dad were going there for a few weeks on a honeymoon. I was an only child so I didn't want to stay alone so I stayed with my best friend Harry! He was sweet, kind, and always there for me when I needed it.
We have been friends for about 4 years (since we were 13). He is a very handsome person and I have liked him for a while but there's no way he likes me back.
Shortly after they left we got the notice that travel would be restricted and no one knows how long it will be so I'm still staying with Harry. He's letting me borrow his spare room and in exchange I make him delicious meals and take care of him.
