it felt different now that they aren't pretending like they are together, a good different. it is supposed to be a great feeling for him, but taeyong was holding himself back from massaging his chest when his heartbeat was acting up again. squeezing the younger's hand, almost alarming him, the smaller male took a deep breath in and showed a small smile after.

❝so—❞ taeyong darted his attention to the surroundings and just got to realize that the taller male had drove them to the park, where people were bringing their pets at this hour. his eyes were sparkling and he got so excited watching the park being so lively with all the animals and pets present in it. taeyong was beaming with joy that he got to call the younger male with their endearment. ❝hubby!❞

the male being called that had an adoring smile as he watched the shorter male tugging his arm and is pulling him to a place where dogs were playing running and playing around. ❝taeyong, careful, you might trip and fall.❞

but he'll catch him anyways. anytime, and anywhere.

the excited male that had his eyes glistening at the adorable cute sized animals got to let go of jaehyun's hand and dropped himself down to play with them. one dog came running towards taeyong and almost knocked him down when he pounced at him, them male can just giggle. ❝jaehyun, can we adopt the dog?❞

the younger widened his eyes and saw the owner of the dogs smiling at the two of them as he watched taeyong play with her pets. jaehyun chuckled nervously and pulled the small puppy away from the shorter male who pouted because of it. ❝hey, they have owners already.❞

fortunately for taeyong, he knows the younger's weakness. a pout and teary eyes, ❝but hubby, what if bubu wants a dog?❞

dang it, if jaehyun only had an idea that taking care of him in a place that had innocent temptations for the older male would be this hard then he would have gotten himself ready. he would have brought the two of them to a theater, or watch some movies, probably go out of the city again just for the whole afternoon. but no, he just had to bring taeyong to the park where he is adopting everything, and anyone.

knowing very well that his pout can make jaehyun go weak in his knees and give in to him.

❝jaehyun, look!❞ taeyong went running towards the male whose name he has been shouting across the park, carrying an animal thinking that it was a stray. ❝he's cute!❞

the taller male lifted his head up and got himself ready for the pout, which he had already expected. and when he was about to agree, confirming that it was a stray cat that he took, the cat was hissing at him and is waving his claws. ❝it hates me!❞

that didn't stop there. finding an ice cream stand not far from where they are, jaehyun went to buy two for them and as he got back from where he had left the older male (who's acting like a kid wanting lollipops right now), he gasped and almost dropped the ice cream when he saw him talking to a parrot.

❝hubby,❞ taeyong was back it with the endearment and those pouty lips. ❝i want this!❞

he quickly rushed towards the shorter male and gave an apologetic smile to the person that's carrying the animal. ❝that's a parrot! we can't have those inside the house.❞
