Before the story starts, I figured I should give y'all a bit of background on Finn as a character; I'll try to update this as needed!! I hope y'all enjoy reading this as much as I enjoy writing this!!
If I had to give them a celebrity look-alike, I'd say Kristen Stewart in Charlie's Angels.
In the events leading up to the funeral in episode one, they start using she/they pronouns. When I refer to them, I'll probably only use they/them in these like author notes and alter the pronoun usage as they come more into their identity. Plus, the world needs more nonbinary badasses, and I might as well deliver (or at least try too 😅😂).
Their powers are related to light/ photon manipulation. As it is kind of an op ability by itself, for the story purposes, they can: solidify light and, in turn, use that to push themselves and others at high (but not light) speeds. Light solidification also allows them to create simplistic objects at will. They can also alter photons surrounding themselves, other people or objects, to appear physically different. However, this won't change their physical appearance. For example, they can trick someone into thinking they are Rihanna, but they wouldn't have the ability to look like Rihanna physically. Finley can also alter the temperature of photons. However, they aren't too comfortable with that ability, so it's not something that should be relied on, and the photons will most likely stay extremely hot.
Before the time skip, they're 14 (I'm thinking about 9th grade). A year after Five's disappearance.
They have "grey toned" blue eyes.
About 5'9" after the time skip but about 5'6" at the start of the story.
They need glasses but use contacts more cause they're less likely to get destroyed in a fight.
They're very emotionally driven and will charge headfirst into something if they deem the result more critical then themselves.

They keep their hair short, making it harder for someone to grab it in a fight but would love to have long hair if their work didn't call for them to have it short and if they weren't so impatient.

They have, depending on if they're working, either a "leather pants and matching jacket with red lipstick" vibe or "nblw theatre kid (yea this does include the fun earrings)" vibe.
When working, they tend to be very calculated, secure, reliable, and cold-hearted. Off the clock, they have two brain cells and share one with Diego and Kalus. They are the WORST at giving or receiving directions and have the personality of a ray of sunshine.
Their music tastes ranges anywhere from old rock, the 50s, alternative, indie, or rap.
They have a motorbike for long-distance. I imagine something like this.

Their weapon of choice for hand to hand combat is either a garrote (a long, thin wire with two metal or plastic handles) made of light or "dual" light chakrams which look similar to this. (the photo quality is terrible I apologize 😅). If it doesn't show up well, think a really sharp frisbee with a handle in the center, which breaks the chakram in half to use as curved knives.
