Maura's POV

I woke up to Nash telling me to get up for school, i got up and got changed into white jean shorts and a black vneck and black converse.

I just keep telling myself to ignore all of the names today and just worry about my work.

I ate breakfast and Nash keeps trying to talk to me and i feel bad because its not like this is his fault, i just hugged him.

"have a good day" he said

"thanks" i said and left

I walked to the bus and got on, we got to school and i went to my locker and got atext from Hayes.

"im home and good" hayes said

I smiled and put my phone in my locker.

"hey" nick said

"hey" i said

"you never texted me last night" he said

"Sorry, i was at the hospital for a family thing" i said

"is everything okay?" he asked

"yeah" i said

"ew look at the fat slut trying to get with nick" some girl said

"im so done with this shit" i said

"just ignore them, theyre really mean" nick said

i sighed and put my hands in my hair, "im trying not to let them get to me" i said

Nick hugged me and i felt sparks, i defiently like him.

"i could tell you needed that" nick said

"thanks" i said

The day went by slow, the names just got worse and i was pushed into a locker ad hit my head and it still hurts.

I got on the bus and texted nick right away since he told me too, one i got home i dropped my school bag and just slid down the door.

i cant go back there, they're gonna make me depressed, they already have me so hurt.

i put my legs up to my chest and cried into them, i cant do this anymore, they wont stop.

"Maura" hayes said

"i cant go back there, no" i cried

"shhh" hayes said and hugged me.

"hayes please dont make me go back" i cried

"mar todays friday, and we start magcon again this weekend" hayes said

"i mean ever" i said and looked up

"your makeup is running" hayes said and stuck his tonge out, i just laughed

"why do they hate me, what did i do? i want them to like me and be friends with me" i said

"maura you need to stop thinking about that, girls dont like you because they're jealous of you" hayes said

"i cant get up" i said

"you have to go pack, were leaving in an hour and guess where we are going?" hayes asked

"north carolina?" i asked getting hyper because i havent seenmy best friend richard from there in forever.

"yeah" hayes said

"Hayes help me up" i said

He grabbed my hand and helped me up and i decided to turn on music while i pack.
