The gang had finally made it to town, it was somewhat small but very cozy, each building looked just as nice as the last, with dark wood sidings and intricate designs on some of the doors and windows, there were so many new smells and sights and everyone they passed gave the pups a friendly smile and a gently bow, to which Crescent tried to give back to as many as he could. Though he started to feel a bit light headed after bobbing his head up and down so much.
Lin was looking around and seemed to be taking note more then admiring the scenery, though he had his reasons. Surely.

Lupe had caught a glimpse of a pottery store, the cups and bowls were so delicate and beautiful, it was hard to believe someone had made that themselves. Crescent stood with her and was impressed, each one was similar to the other, but they all were very different in their own way, be it the painting or how thick the clay was or even how a handle looped around. It was neat to think that these were crafted by paws and not magic.

Loaf watched from a few lengths away, keeping an eye on all three of the pups as best he could.
"Uh, Crescent? I'll be over there, your free to do whatever you want, just don't steal from anyone."

"I wont!"
Crescent yapped back, tapping Lupes shoulder lightly.
"Do you want to go inside? We can look around and get a better view."

"Do you think they have anything we can get? I like those cups..."

"Maybe... I'll have to see if dad gave me enough money..."
Crescent shrugged but was willing to spend a bit if it made Lupe happy.
The two walked inside the store and was greeted with a pleasant smell of flowers and smoke, something Crescent had never thought would smell nice together.
Lupe seemed to be thinking the same as she had lifted her nose up and closed her eyes to take it in.
Revealing a small, genuine smile as she did so.
Crescent smiled with her and waited for her to regain herself so they could explore together.
Once she was ready Lupe slowly made her way to the back wall, looking over the cups and plates that were on display. Seemingly entranced by them.

Crescent found a few odd ones he liked, showing them off to Lupe every now and then, she would perk up each time, that smile returning briefly.

"Crescent look, this one looks like a snake."

"Oh wow, but, wait, snakes don't have wings... do they?"
The two stared at the odd figure for a bit longer as they thought over it.

"No, snakes have no limbs or wings or anything much other then long bodies and hissy attitudes... what are you two doing without guardians?"
A low but gentle voice sounded, making Crescent turn to look at this new coyote.
He was definitely older then Loaf was, but just as friendly, as far as Crescent was concerned, he had a nice nose.
Lupe took a step back from the wall and lowered her head, as if she had been scolded.

"Oh, we're here alone, well, we have a friend but he's somewhere outside... sir, uh, if this isn't a snake, then what is it?"
Crescent asked tilting his head.
The older coyotes ears perked up slowly and he looked over at the glossy figure, taking a step closer and then picking it from the shelf.
"You mean to tell me you two don't know what this is?"

"No... no sir."

"Heh... this, my dears, is a dragon."
Lupe looked back up at the sound of that word, Crescent opened his mouth in awe, and the old coyote just smiled.
"Now, do you two know about the dragons, and the legend behind them?"

"No?"

"Tell us please."

"There used to be thousands upon thousands of dragons, all through the land and under the sea, in the air and digging through the ground, and they were huge, like mountains, and small, like birds, and all of them were prideful and equally as tough."
