I open my eyes slowly at the sound of chirping. Turning to my left, I reach for my nightstand to shut the loud, bird alarm off. I turn over on my back and close my eyes once again just to rest them for a few more minutes. At least that was what I planned.

After a few seconds I hear my door open slowly and suddenly feel the weight of my fraternal twin sister suffocating me. She hugs me to the point where I can barely breathe or even make out what she's saying.

Once she finally gets off of me I whine, "Why did you mess up my sleep?" My sister, Yumeko, just giggles and tells me why she's so excited today.

Once she's done speaking, I'm already pulling my new Hyakkaou Academy uniform out of my closet and into the bathroom to take a quick shower. Before closing the door, all I can hear is my sister laughing from her spot on my bed.

It completely slipped my mind that I was finally attending the same school as my sister, and I couldn't be happier! I can't wait to meet all of the students and see what the school has to offer.

Once I've taken a quick shower, I quickly dry off and wrap my towel around me. I speed through my everyday morning routine in less than five minutes, and practically throw my uniform on.

I just love the feeling of sophistication I have from wearing this new uniform.

I turn to my mirror with the biggest smile on my face. My light-brown, almost golden eyes are shining with happiness. I run my fingers through my shoulder-length, chocolate brown hair. Looking down, I make sure my uniform is correctly situated on my small 5'1 body. Once I'm sure everything is perfect, I go to meet my sister in the kitchen.

I see a small bowl of furikake rice with egg as well tea on the side as I enter the kitchen. Yumeko must have already eaten while I was getting ready.

As I'm making my way towards the food, I hear "Are you ready to gamble with so many people and risks so much?" All I can do is smile and nod excitedly at her question.

After I finish my meal and clean up, I gather all I need and rush my sister out of our home.

On the walk there, I'm bubbling with excitement and my sister is as well as she thinks of the next big gamble.

She rarely talks about her experiences at the school because she wants me to do things differently than she did. Though this is the case, I know many crazy things have probably happened since she's been there because of how amazing she is at gambling.

Just the thought of gambling with so many other people excites me to the point where I'm bouncing with every step.

The school is in sight after a little while and all I can do is freeze and gape in awe. This is the place where I'll spend most of my fun and I am ecstatic!

I grab my sister's are to drag her to the front gates and she just smiles lightly. Once we've entered the huge gates, all I can do is look around. There are so many students roaming the outside.

As I'm gazing, I don't notice the guy that approaches my sister and I until Yumeko is introducing the two of us.

"Hello Ryota. This is my twin sister, Jabami Atsuko. This it Suzuki Ryota, Atsuko."

The boy just stands there with his mouth agape in shock. All I can do is giggle at how surprised he is. After a few moments, I begin to speak to him.

"Hello! As you know I'm Jabami Atsuko, but Atsuko is just fine. It's very nice to meet one of Yumeko's friends. I hope you welcome me here!"

He finally collects himself and greets me similarly with shock still evident in his voice. I give him a small smile to ensure him that I'm grateful of his welcome.

We make our way to the school gates all the while Ryota is questioning my sister as to why she's never mentioned me. I pay little attention as I'm focused solely on reaching the entrance.

Once inside, I begin to imagine all of the fun I'll have here.

My sister leads the way to our class as she and Ryota converse more. Students glance at us in curiosity (more so me) as we walk down the hall.

We finally arrive at the door of Flower class Year 2. Yumeko is the first to enter with Ryota directly behind her.

I take a deep breath and close my eyes hoping for a great school year (although I started in the middle). I finally walk through the sliding door with a smile as bright as the sun. Once I'm through the door, all I'm met with is silence.
