Operation: Death Scythe Search

Kiyotaka hangs up, hurrying out the door and next door to Mondo's dorm. He knocks on the door, and Mondo quickly answers.

"Wow, you weren't kidding," Mondo chuckles.
"Come in."

Kiyotaka comes in, and the two sit down on Mondo's bed.

"Did you text Leon?" Kiyotaka asks.

Mondo nods.
"Yeah. He said he'll be over in a few minutes. He's at Hiro's right now."

"Alright, good," says Kiyotaka.
"We can start our discussion when Leon gets here."

Kiyotaka finds his head landing on Mondo's shoulder. It's pretty much a habit at this point, and not a bad one unless they're in class or something.

Mondo kisses Kiyotaka's forehead, earning a light smile from the shorter.

"Love you," says Mondo.
"I'll save the school from Ishida, don't worry."

Kiyotaka wraps his arms around Mondo.
"I love you too, Mondo. Thank you."

The two's lips meet shortly after, and they share a seven-second kiss.
A few second pass before a knock sounds at the door.

"Come in, dude," Mondo yells.

The door opens, and in comes Leon, his red hair a mess.

"Did something happen at Yasuhiro's?" Kiyotaka asks the baseball star, pointing to his hair.

Leon nods.
"Uh, yeah, heh. Hiro fucked up my goddamn hair!"

"How the hell'd that happen?" Mondo asks.

"He was a gay idiot," Leon answers.
"I'd say more, but Taka here would freakin' lose it if I did."

"...oh. Yeah, my boyfriend would definitely lose it."

"Please sit," Kiyotaka says, pointing to Mondo's desk chair.

Leon sits in the chair.
"I have no idea what we're doing, but lay it on me."

"Taka's trying to find Ishida's death scythe," Mondo explains.
"And we need your ass to trigger the bitch so we can ask him where the fuck his scythe is."

"Hey, hey! Language!" Kiyotaka yells.

Mondo puts a finger to Kiyotaka's lips.
"Babe. Shh."

"Okay," Kiyotaka says softly.

"So... my job's being an asshole?" Leon asks.
"Sweet."

"And we need to keep Mondo's intentions with Ishida a secret," says Kiyotaka.
"The question is, how?"

"Well, I noticed earlier he has no problem with Chihiro," Leon says.
"Maybe after Ishida tells Mondo where his scythe is, Ishida can talk to Mondo and Chihiro while I go find it. I'll just say I'm goin' back to Hiro's or somethin'."

"Dude, that sounds like the stupidest plan ever," Mondo replies with a sigh.

Kiyotaka shrugs.
"It doesn't sound that stupid. Ignore his negativity, Leon. I believe that while Ishida is completely lacking in morals, he still probably has hall monitor reflexes and knows where you're going. And I don't think we need to add Chihiro into this. This is complicated enough as it is."

"Yeah, he'd probably catch you before you even started looking," Mondo agrees.
"Maybe I should bring Taka back before you start looking. It's safer that way."

"Good thinking. I don't wanna die just because I'm doing your dirty work for you."
Leon slumps back in the chair.

"Alright, it's settled, then," Kiyotaka says.
"Leon, you will summon Ishida, then Mondo will ask him where his scythe is. After that, you thank him and bring me back. Then the three of us will go look for the scythe together. And once we find it, I will confiscate it. Does that sound like a plan, you two?"

Mondo nods.
"Sounds good to me. How 'bout you, Leon?"

"Yeah, I guess," Leon replies.
"Oh, oh! Maybe I could go into the bathroom or something so he thinks the two of you are alone. I'll leave the door open a crack so I can hear."

"How can you summon him if you're in the bathroom the whole time?" Kiyotaka asks.

"Well, one time, he said that I could summon him just by asking you," Mondo replies.
"We could just do that. Leon, you would have to hide before I summon him. 'Kay?"

Leon nods.
"Yeah. I'm down for that. Should I go now?"

"That would be the wise thing to do," Kiyotaka replies.
"Go, Leon."

Leon waves goodbye before heading into the bathroom, leaving the door open a crack.

"Okay, are we ready now?" Kiyotaka asks Mondo.

"I think," Mondo replies.
"So, uh, bro... can I see Ishida now?"

"Go right on ahead," Kiyotaka says.
"Good luck."

A white light envelopes Kiyotaka, and out comes Ishida.
