The castle^
We arrived in Rheaven two hours later.Unfortunatly Derek was wake the whole time SK I wasn't able to read my letter.As we where driving through the town I noticed how quite it was.In Adabeth the markets ajd streets would be lively to nightfall. "Where is everyone?" I asked. "It's past curfew so they sill be at home if they kniw what's good for them,"spoke a guard.I dismissed the last bit and spoke "it's only 6pm" checking my watch for confimation.I didn't get a response.
The castle for the royal family is another 1 hour drive from the town.In Adabeth our castle is a maximum of a 10 minute walk as we spend alot of time communcating and helping our subjects.Derek still hasn't spoke to me since the great hall.I don't know how he feels on the arrangment but I hope he is as happy as I am about it.
When we got to the castle I was handed a sheet of paper and everyone disappeared.I decided to go look for my room since no one was going to help me.I realised how I didn't know the castle layout at all but I spotted a boy who looked to be in his early twenties. "Excuse me," I spoke.No reply. "Excuse me!,"I tried again.No reply.I walked up to him and he seemed to be reading. "Hey!" I spoke.His head flipped upwards so quick I thought he was going to hurt himself.His eyes raked over me and he went deathly pale. "You can see me?" He questioned. "Of course I can,"I spoke.A smile formed on his face. "Anyway i'm Rayne and I'm looking for my room but I don't know where it is.Are you ok?You look like you've seen a ghost," I joked. "Your not the ghost here.Trust me," he mumbled.
"What?" I replied.
"Nothing,"he shot back,"I can show you to you room and I see you have a rule sheet.Want me to read it for you." I just nodded my head.
"Rule #1 Always wear proper attire,
Rule #2 Do not leave the castle,
Rule #3 If we do leave the castle do not engage with the towns folk,
Rule #4 Remember your place as a woman
Rule #5 No contact with family
Punishment:You will be punished acorrding to wich rules you break.Each rule broken means a night spent in the dungeon.
These rules are ridiculous. "
"You can say that again," I agreed.
We came upon a room a young girl my age looked to be cleaning. "Here you go.My name is Chase just call my name if you need me."
"Thank you," I replied but he was already out of sight.
