Do you want to know why?
Why we hurt badly when our loved ones lie?
Why the pain differs and digs?
Why it reaps us apart?
Do you care to know why it shakes us?
Its not the word of lie that hurts.
Neither the manner it is said.
But our own expectations.
We are hurt because we expected so much.
We expected them to know our feelings.
We expected honesty and transparency.
In all, we didn't expect the words to come from them.
Our expectations hurt us.
