Emily's Pov

I was making sandwich for ver. She is an amazing girl and my Caleb loves her so much for so many things.
Which made us love her more.
she completes my son.
Then I Heard phone rang. I picked it. John was there crying " what happen honey"
" Caleb was shot"

Thats all I could hear and everything went blank.
Tears rolled down my cheeks.

Ver came running.
Mary told her. She fell on the floor.
" Mam please compose yourself"
She handed me a glass of water.
I ran towards ver pick her in my Arms and cried.

Ron came and I went to the hospital.

John came running to me and hugged me tightly. As we both cried

" How Is my baby now is he fine , can i meet him please" I begged him and he hold me as I cried harder.

" Few more minutes baby, our baby is so strong he is a our lion, he will come back soon to us."

We sat there holding each other. Waited patiently for the doctors to open the door.

I woke as John was shaking me

" Honey please get up , let's meet caleb, he is perfectly fine."
I smiled and quickly walked towards the door.

And here he was lying on the bed with oxygen mask.

I cried and hold his hand caressed it.

" Wake up my tiger. You are way stronger than you think"
Come get up now
I need to see you smile"

As I cried, John hold me more tightly.
" Let him rest baby, doctors said we will be up in an hour"

I smiled and got up to went outside.

We came downstairs for coffee and saw ver on reception.

" Ver" John called.
She turned and ran towards her.
" Is he okay" I got her in bear hug as she cried. Her eyes were swollen.

" Yes honey, he is fine he will be up in an hour" I said and smiled assuring

She only hugged me tightly.

" Where is he I have to see him"
She said while parting.

" He in 208 room. Go watch your boy and then came down okay .
Let him rest" John said.

She smiled at us and went towards lift.
"She is a keeper and best girl for our boy honey" John said as we smiled at her retreating figure.

Veronica's Pov

I quickly went inside to see my prince charming sleeping peacefully.
Its shocking to him like this twice.
Earlier also I saw him like this during the accident.
It is the most painful thing to watch.
I hope god never do this again.
I love him so much to let him get hurt.
Please god if you are listening please do something and let caleb be happy all over again.

I walked towards him. Held his hand and kissed is.
"You moron you scared me again baby please don't do this again. Get up now honey I love you so much. I want us to get married soon now. I can't stay away from you any more.
Wake up now please" as I said desperately and kissed his hands.
Doc told me let him rest. So I went down with last glance.
And made my way towards his parents.

She handed me cup of coffee I denied.
" Drink baby you need energy to fight with him"
John laughed and I smiled.
"Drink then we both can beat him"
We laughed and waited there for him to wake up.

It's been two hours and he still isn't up.
We three have been waited patiently for long but now I am getting impatient.
I went towards the icu and saw him sleeping in the same position from past 6 hours.
I asked nurse if I can go inside. She nodded and told me to come back fast. I held his hand and put it on my cheek and kissed it.

" Baby you need to wake up now like now, please baby".
As I cried as doc said he has to get up early otherwise...

Oh god now please.

His brain isn't working...
" Love pleaseee otherwise I will not talk to you, pleaseee get up"
As I cried harder.

" Mam you need to go out, we have to give him meds" James said.
To which I nodded.
As I got up his hand not leaving mine.
I looked at him, he was looking at me a little bit smile on his face due to the mask he wore.

With a little squeeze he let go.
I kissed his forehead
" I will be back baby I love you so much" a lone tear drop to his cheek
I wiped it.
And left the room.

I told John and Emily that he is up and he was taking meds.

After half an hour they let us inside.

We hugged him kissed him.
This idiot whom we all love so much is smiling there as if he won a lottery.

I looked at him mesmerizing him as if I won him back or seeing him like after years.
I love this man so much I wanted to stay with him for rest of my life.
He always said this thing you are a mesmerizing beauty.
But no he is the only boy in my life who has my heart soul.
I was mesmerized by him.
And will continue to fall in love with him over and over again.
" Angel" he breaked my day dreaming and I smiled.
" He kissed my hands and took it.

" I know this isnt how I planned, it was yesterday I wanted to do this" I smiled

I didn't know I was crying, tears rolled down my cheeks.
And happily i said " yes yes yes you idiot, for like 1000th time a yes"

He laughed and hugged me tightly though his injury.

We parted and saw rach and Ron was also there.

" Oh my baby is finally getting married" " ver we have to select the best designer for you and hair make up everything oh ver "

I laughed my typical bestfriend.
I hugged her tight as she cried.
Then she hugged caleb.

I move to Ron, " hi Ron how are you"

He smiled and hugged me " I am sorry ver this time I am not going to make the same mistake as I did earlier,
I wanted to spend my life with her. Earlier I acted like a jerk but not now. I promise you to take care of her very well" he said boldly in front of whole room.
I smiled assuredly.

" You should she loves you very much ron. Thank you for taking care of her".

And with that I can see my family in front of me.
Smiling, laughing and cherishing the bond we share.

The whole life I wanted this and now after getting this I can feel myself all giddy and lucky.
