Chapter 1; The Night

Beca Mitchell was doing her normal night routine in the bathroom. She washed her face and brushed her teeth, but soon she heard a noise coming from outside. She ignored it until she heard it again. "what the hell..?" She went back to her room and grabbed a baseball bat. She heard the noise a few times again as she was walking down the stairs. She makes it outside and walks around with the bat.

Jesse jumps from the bushes. "Beca you gott-" Jesse was interrupted by Beca screaming "Jesse what the hell!? You scared the shit out of me!" Jesse didn't care about that and continued his sentence. "Dude you have to listen to me. I was listening my dad's phone calls like i always do" Beca started to get annoyed and turned around, almost walking away. "No no no wait! They found a body in the woods!" Beca turned back around. "A dead body?" She asked confused. "No a body of water. Yes a dead body dumbass!" He looked at her with the look he always did, when he wanted something. "What?" Beca asked crossing her arms. "We gotta go check that out." Beca shook her head "No absolutely not, we have practice tomorrow and I want to make it to the first line!" Jesse makes his best puppy eyes. "Please Beca i'll do anything- I'll buy you McDonald's" He winks and Beca grins. "What are we waiting for then?" They walked to Jesse's jeep.

They were at the Beacon Hills forest in 30 minutes, because Jesse drove over the speed limit, causing him to get a ticket. "What excactly are we looking for?" Beca asked breathing heavily, while looking for her inhalor. "The other half of the body. Oh yeah i forgot to mention they only found half of the body." Beca soon found her inhalor and used it getting her breathing back to normal. "Half of the body!?" She yelled getting mad at Jesse. "Dude shh they're gonna hear us." Jesse started running for some odd reason and Beca ran behind her further away. Jesse soon fell and saw a dog growling and barking, in front of  him. Then he looked up seeing his dad and many other men. Sheriff Swanson lifted him up. "What the hell are you doing here!? Did you listen to my phone calls again?" Jesse didn't answer anything. "Is there someone here with you?" He asked. "No dad i'm alone i promise." The sheriff didn't believe him and shot his flashlight up to the trees. "Beca? Are you there?" Beca hid behind a tree, not answering anything. "See dad i told you i'm alone" Jesse said obviously lying but his dad believed him. "I'm gonna take you home. And you're grounded." They start walking away.

Beca was still behind the tree thinking what she should do. She grabbed her phone, but accidentally dropped it and it somehow slides down a hill. "You've got to be kidding me" She walked after her phone, but sees a deer herd running towards her. She didn't have time to run away. One deer pushed her to the ground and after a few seconds the deer were gone. She found her phone and put the flashlight light on and walked for a while, but then she saw something. Something what looked like a wolf with bright red eyes. She didn't care what it was, she just started running as fast as she could. She ran until she thought she was safe, but when she looked down at the ground she saw a body. The other half of the body. She let out a scream and managed to run a few steps before something knocked her over and bit her shoulder. The pain was horrible, but somehow she stayed quiet until the animal that bit her was gone. She then started running and made it home in several hours.
