"I really don't want to trouble your parents," Ella said as she got ready for the day's stop in Florence while Luke sat on her bed. "I mean I have Molly to take care of, and what about my parents?"

"They can meet my parents and do some parent bonding while we do some bonding,"

"My dad won't take this lightly, I've told you about him,"

"Just ask, please Ella? My mum and dad loved you yesterday," he pleaded, wanting Ella to spend the day with him.

Ella turned to face Luke and sighed.

"I swear if he yells at me, I'm blaming you." she said as she dialled his father's number.

Her father picked up after the third tone and Ella went into the bathroom. She spoke softly, making sure Luke didn't hear her.

"So?" he asked once Ella had hung up.

"I blame you," she laughed.

"He said no? Ella, have you even told them about me?"

"Yes, Luke!" She said a little to loudly. "Sorry, sorry, I didn't mean to yell."

"You weren't." Luke reassured her.

"I need to go down and have breakfast with them," Ella said as she took her small bag.

"Can I at least tag along with you then? Your mum seemed to like me when I met her,"

"Yeah but that's my mum, Hemmings, she loves every friend of mine she meets." She sighed. "I'll meet you tomorrow, okay?"

Ella put one hand on the door handle and Luke saw it as the signal to leave.

"Can I at least escort my girlfriend to breakfast?"

The two walked down to the buffet where Ella's family was, while Luke had to meet his mum and dad at the restaurant. Luke stopped their tracks right by the entrance.

"I'll meet you tomorrow at your cabin, okay?" Ella promised Luke.

"Promise?" Luke held his pinky out.

"Oh my god, Hemmings," Ella laughed. "You can't be serious."

"I'm not letting you leave until you promise." He said without expression.

"Fine," Ella said as she secured the promise.

Luke kissed her forehead before letting her go. "See you, babe."

Ella laughed at the fact he never called her that "Later, loser." She said in return as she walked away.
