「 twenty nine 」

He stared at the trashcan before settling his eyes on to you, clicking his tongue loudly. The vampire glanced at you with brows furrowed."Pfft~ that's just easy shorty.." You were expecting that Doyoung will attempt to use his psychokenesis, instead he stood up and grab the wrapper. Well, you can't blame him for not using his powers. If you were on his shoes, you too wouldn't risk your clean clothes just to practice telekenesis. "Watch me." The vampire smiled and attempt to shoot the wrapper but you laughed when Doyoung failed doing it.

"That was an epic fail.." you commented, laughing at the vampire who was glaring at you. "Watch me, watch me fail~" you imitated Doyoung and laugh once more.

The vampire click his tongue and throwed the wrapper into you. "You were just lucky that time!" He groaned.

You catch the wrapper that Doyoung throwed and again shoot the wrapper into the trashcan. You stared at the vampire with a sly smile on your face as you saw the wrapper successfully went into the bin. "Is this watch you call luck?" you asked, earning a loud groan from the vampire.

Doyoung again grab the wrapper and tried shooting it multiple times but nothing came into the bin after many trials. The vampire whined and eventually gave up. He  stared at you, furious as he put his hands onto his hips. "Go to your bed already!" He yelled.

"I'm not a kid.." you mumbled, earning a deadly glare from the vampire. Seeing how serious he is, you immediately rush your way towards the bed and sat there, puffing your cheeks because of how the vampire changed his mood quickly. Your eyes caught the vampire carrying the chair near you and sat on it.

He sat there having his arms crossed and head tilt towards the window. You took the time to stare at him and appreciate his side profile, he look so gorgeous and looked surreal. Shaking your head, you didn't want to be a creep on staring at him so you called  his attention. The vampire clicked his tongue and glared at you. "What?"

Since you were bored and all, your mind suddenly remember the time Doyoung trapped you in his own house. Snorting loudly, you gave the vampire a confused look. "Why did you kidnap me at the first place?"

The stubborn vampire gave you an angry gaze. "Hey I didn't kidnap you!" He defended himself, still having his arms cross. "I- I just took you in."

"And why?"

"Why are you asking me?"

"Because you're the one who took me in."

"Can you stop asking about it?" The vampire covered his mouth when he unintentionally raised his voice. He sigh and gave you a guilty look. "I'm sorry, it's just that I really don't know why I took you in."

That made you more confused. "How can you make a decision when there's no valid reason of you doing it?" you raised a brow at the stubborn vampire.

"I don't know!" Doyoung hid his face using his hands and let go of a stressful groan. "I'm still thinking on why did I took you in until today!"

You just stare at the confused vampire, still having a brow raised. He shake his head and had his hand clasped. "Maybe because seeing you live alone and had no one to lean on makes me guilty-"

You snorted at what the vampire just said. Remembering how Doyoung took  you in, you raised a finger at him. "Don't you remember how rude you are at the mini- mart to the point I throwed the coffee at you?" He just stared at you, emotionless. "Also, you said I'll have to pay for throwing coffee at the son of the reigning vampire ruler." you giggled remembering how furious the vampire was back then.

The vampire scratch his chin and blink his eyes. "But like I said before, I wasn't really mad at you. Why will I get mad at a little creature like you?"

You clicked your tongue, getting pissed at how he described you. "Can you stop calling me short—"

"Well, it's the only I can call your attention, shorty." He laughed as he saw you glare at him. "And besides, if I was really mad at you, I couldn't have made tons of effort and didn't care for you this much." Doyoung shrugged as his face plaster a smirk.

Before you could even think about Doyoung acting so nice and caring for you- he continued speaking. "And yes, I do care for you- and still don't know why- probably because I feel guilty on knowing you. Nothing more, nothing less." He again shrug.

"You shouldn't have take me in at the first place, I mean I'm fine on my own—"

"Well, I can't handle knowing that you live alone." He frowned at you. "Look shorty, for the time I saw you back there at the mini- mart I really do have plans to take you in since I know Kun and Ten will cherish you."

"Also, I'm not lying when I said I care for you because I really do. Ever since the day I saw you and I hope you won't doubt my nice side at all."
