𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐕𝐀𝐌𝐏𝐈𝐑𝐄 𝐇𝐄𝐈𝐑𝐒 • 𝘬𝘪𝘮 𝘥𝘰𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘨

「 three 」

After an hour of Yejin lecturing you with life, you didn't  get what she said, not even a single word. Your mind isn't functioning like you wanted. It malfunctions like always. The alarm rang and it was a cue for breaktime. You and Yejin played rock paper scissors and sadly you lost. You're now in charge on the cash register and on checking the store until your eonnie finish her meal. You decided to sat down on a high red stool beside the counter. You tip toed your way up to the stool. It was quite high, quite high for your height. You played with your finger and hum a random melody. The mini-mart was quiet. There were no customers inside it. You hated the silence, it was creepy sound for you to hear. You hum got a little louder. This time you hummed what your mother use to hum you to sleep. You ace humming your mother's lullaby too much that you, yourself yawned and started to feel sleepy.

"It won't hurt if I rest my eyes right?"  you thought out loud and slowly close your eyes.

Just before you truly fall asleep and enter slumber land, the door banged open, making the bell rang cuing that someone entered. Your eyes widened and your heartbeat when fast. You almost fell on the high stool because you were surprised by the bell. Luckily, you managed to balance yourself. You sighed in relief and carefully went down on the stool. "Okay..." you said while you're catching your breath. "Never sit on things that high ever again."

You went to your assigned cash register and and beside it there's a small tv that shows CCTV footage all across the store. You observed it and tried to find the customer who interrupted your sleep and almost made you have an heart attack. Your eyes went back and forth, you can't even see a person roaming around.

'Maybe a ghost visited the store??' You thought and squint your eyes in fear.You search a little bit, you're getting  nervous. You knew someone entered the store and yet you couldn't see a single human on the footage.

"Where is that—"

"Are you looking for me?" You screamed. You immediately look in front of you and there was that someone, and that someone is a guy. You observed the guy quite a bit. He is quite tall, your height is below his shoulder. You look at his light brown hair. He has thick brows. You were surprised when you saw his long eyelashes, it's kinda cute on him. Then you look at his nose, it was not pointed nor flat, it was just right.
