I was on a phone call with my mom and suddenly everything turned pitch black, next thing I know I woke up in a hospital bed hooked up to all of these machines. The doctor told me that I almost died and that I'm extremely lucky to still be alive, he thought I wasn't going to make it. I was in a coma for five months, when I woke up it felt like I had a chance to fix my life. Before I got in to the car accident I was an alcoholic ruining my life, this feels like god's punishment for destroying my life and everything around me. This is a second chance he is giving me so I'm going to take it and change my life for the better and live it to the fullest.
