The Unit Pt.1

( Anonymous on radio)

Location: Unit HQ

Ed: Aah another regular day. With 'The Unit' in the frontlines the number of cases in the city are declining.

Ghost: Enough boasting. You never know what they are planning.

Ed: You are such a pessimist. And who are you referring to as they?

Ghost: You already know.

Ed: They are gone why don't you understand?

Ghost: We never killed them. They just gave us a warning and disappeared.

Ed: That wasn't a warning dude.

Ghost: And how do you sum up the disappearance?

Cpt Ark: Enough chit chat boys. Colonel's office now!

                                             (Colonel's office)

Colonel: Morning lads.

Ed and Ghost: Mornin sir...

Colonel: We know the cases declined after the unit was formed. But that doesn't mean that we will let our guard down.

                                (phone ringing)

Ralph: Sir we got a code red. 5 people found dead in an alley.

                               (Ghost and Ed stares at each other)

Colonel: Gear up boys we got a situation.

Cpt. Ark: Aight Ed, Ghost. Let's go.

                                ( Exits the colonel's office)

Ghost: Told you!

Ed: Naah. It can't be them.

Ghost: 5 deaths in wide daylight!  Who else could do that?

Ed: We'll find it soon enough.

Ghost:  Let's go.

                                 (Crime Scene)

Ralph: Bubble, didn't you see anything in the surveillance?

Bubble: No idea Ralph. 

                                        (Ed,Ghost and Capt Ark enter)

Ralph: There they are.

Ed: What's the prob bro?

Ghost: Can't you see? That's a lot of blood.

Ed: I got eyes . You are pissing me off since morning man.

Ghost: If you get pissed off by facts I ain't got anything to say.

Ed: Whatever.

Cpt Ark: Back in our days we didn't have these kinda techs. AAh  those days.

Ed: It's good that we have em now right?

Cpt Ark: Yeah yeah what am saying is that if we had these back in the day the number of deaths would've been less. I probably could save my squad.

Ralph: Nope. Nothing here. I think it's time we send it to the forensics.

Cpt Ark: I guess that would be better.

                                  (The Unit forensics)

KTJ: What you got here boys?

Ed: 5 dead bodies nothing much.

KTJ: What!

Ghost: You heard him.

KTJ:  Aight give me a week.

Cpt Ark : What are the advanced tech for?

KTJ: It's 5 bodies sir.

Cpt Ark: Try to make it real quick.

KTJ: Sure thing sir.

                               (Colonel's Office)

Cpt Ark: Sir. 5 deaths no weapon traces nothing.

Colonel: We can't let the general public know about this.

Cpt Ark: Sure thing sir. We will keep it classified.

                           (Unit HQ)

Ed: Ghost I think you might be right. I thought about it a lot. 5 killings can be done. But only they can do it anonymously.

Ghost: Finally someone agrees.

Ed: Damn bro. I just hope we get something positive from the forensics.

 ( Announcement):: Ghost and Ed are requested to come to colonel's office immediately.

                   

                             ( Colonel's office)

Colonel: Ralph just called. 2 more bodies were found in another alley. No sign of ammunition usage. 

Cpt Ark: Let's go.

                        (Unit vehicle)

Ed: Ghost now am truly terrified.

Ghost: Let's see.

Ed: But how are they escaping the blood tracer?

Ghost: We will find out soon enough.......
