You were in Nirvasyl and your fellow Beastmen were transforming themselves into large deformed creatures. 'How could this have happened?' You asked yourself. Well, to put simply, they were just too much for one another. They couldn't handle their territory being shared with so many other Beastmen which caused them to stress out. But, you didn't know this. No one did. All you saw was the Beastmen attacking humans after finishing the need to kill one another. And to protect themselves, the humans engaged, enacting war.

Your head was ringing as everyone was either killing, protecting, or running. You just fell to your knees as you tried to converse with your fallen family whom you loved so much. You were falling into a deep dark place in your mind. They murdered each other right in front of you.

You looked to your left seeing a wolf Beastman who was trying to understand what was happening. It was a wolf who's name you didn't know but befriended. The one Beastmen who accepted you for being different. The one person you deeply cared for other than your family. Your first friend. You tried to speak to him but your body started growing veins that glowed and you screamed in pain. Thankfully before it could get any worse you were stabbed in the heart with a spear thrown by a human soldier, pulling you into a never-ending dream.

Death. You died. There was no denying it as everything faded away. A bright blue flash dazzled your last vision as you closed your eyes. You could finally be okay even if you weren't satisfied with how much you accomplished in your life. You wanted to see your happy family once more. You could finally see the light which you thought took an eternity to find.

Yet, this was no ordinary light. It was more of a purple flame growing bigger that yearned to be grasped. Your consciousness tried to hold on to it. It wasn't hot nor was it cold. It was warm. It was loving but also distinctly reckless. Once the flame had engulfed you, something almost magical happened that no one could explain.

You felt more than alive, you felt like life was pouring into you. You felt remorse, pain, sadness, hatred, vengeance, and most importantly a beating heart.

You were alive. Yet you didn't know how or why but when you woke up, your form was a glorious giant purple sheep. How did you transform? Why weren't you dead? A million different questions ran through your head. You couldn't relax or feel happy at that moment because of what occured. Your surroundings were highlighted by your light.

Your family was dead in front of you. The air overwhelmingly smelled like blood and ash. Your home was burnt down and your city was in shambles. It only represented how much you've lost but you couldn't blame anyone. Your heart was too big for that. It wasn't anyone's fault that they transformed into deadly creatures or that the humans waged war as soon as chaos ensued. It happened so quickly.

You started crying. Crying, hoping, for everything to just be a nightmare you could wake up from. You didn't want to be alive. You didn't see the point as to why you were living when everyone you knew was gone. Your body slowly transformed into your regular human form as you sobbed for what felt like years. You couldn't help it.

You then noticed the spear that pierced your heart was removed and a prominent scar covered it. How could you have healed when you took such a fatal blow? Well you grabbed a knife sitting near you and cut your arm a tiny bit. To your surprise it was healed almost instantaneously.

You didn't understand. You were confused and scared. You were afraid of what power you might have had when the people around you died by having power themselves. You wanted to be normal and to be free from the world because all it was was just a portion of hell. What were you going to do now?
