For those who don't know who or what the Church of the Broken God (COTBG) and Sarkicism is, it will be explained here.
In the SCP-Verse humanity was created by two deities, Mekhane, the God of Metal,Machines and Knowledge and Yaldabaoth, the Goddess of Flesh and Animal Instinct. Yaldabaoth granted us our shape and instincts while Mekhane gave us our intellect.
Yaldabaoth was upset we had abandoned our primal instincts and made civilization and went to war with Mekhane.
Through tough years of fighting, Mekhane sacrificed himself, turning his body into a cage to hold Yaldabaoth and scattering himself throughout the world. This is now known as the 'First war of the flesh' and the amount of damage caused was the primary reason behind the bronze age collapse.
The Mekhanites/Church of The Broken God (Followers of Mekhane) now search for the pieces of their god to bring him back to help them in their fight against the Sarkics.
The Sarkics themselves wish to recreate their deity to bring humanity back to the animalistic world.
