Prologue

Imagine if your favourite tv shows weren't fiction, but just took place on another universe? What if you found out that one you were created by the universe to protect its inhibitors from death? And what if you fell in love with a character? That is the life of young Amelia, a woman who just reached her senior year of college. See how she goes about these revelations and how her heart manages to take it all in. 

Amelia Christian was celebrating her last year of college like every introvert does, by binge-watching "The Originals" underneath warm covers and an armful of edibles by her side. Meli was high as a kite as she watched season five, worrying about the impending end of her beloved character Klaus Mikaelson. She had seen this show many times before, and despite everything, it still made her cry as she watched Klaus worried over Hope when she was passed out. 

"This sucks. If I was there, I would make sure that the darkness and the hollow were gone so that Nik didn't have to deal with this mess. I would make sure that he would have a happy life with his family." She grumbled angrily, whilst slowly munching on her special little candies that would make the viewing experience that much better. It wasn't long before she was sobbing historically over the last episode as she watched the life go out of Klaus and Elijahs eyes as the dusted off into the New Orleans air. I'm so sorry my darling, Julie did you so dirty, you deserved happiness to go with your redemption and you were robbed. Meli didn't care that she was talking to a fictional character in her mind. She also didn't know that the universe was going to see just how serious she was about keeping the Mikaelson brothers from death. So as Meli passed out from exhaustion she didn't realise that she was being swept from her covers and plopped into a bar she knew all too well, being fully dressed and equipped with only her phone and a wallet.
