"Hi, mom, dad." Jessey said and hugged her parents.
"What's with the sudden visit? Don't get me wrong, ate ha. I want you here but parang medyo sudden lang. May problema ba?" Her mom asked.
"Wala naman, my. I just felt lang na this kiddo needs my help in his Algebra so I went home." Jessey answered but her parents know na there's really something more.
"Oh, eh go to his room and help him na. We'll just call you pag okay na 'to." Sabi ng daddy nila. Jessey just smiled at them and umakyat na sa kwarto ni James.
"Ate, why aren't you going home? Bakit ngayon ka lang ulit umuwi?" James asked.
"I had to finish a project kasi. I had to stay in my condo para malapit sa work ko." Jessey answered. "Alin ba diyan?"
"Here. Its so hard eh." James said.
Jessey started teaching him what he needs to do and in no time, natapos na nila yung homework ni James.
"You're so galing talaga, ate! Love you!" He said and hugged her ate tas kiniss pa sa cheeks.
"Aww. Our baby is so sweet!" Jessey said and hugged him back.
After that sweet moment, they jusy settled inside James' room and naglaro ng PS4 niya.
"Are you going to sleep here, ate?" James asked.
"Uhm, pwede naman. I don't have work pa naman for tomorrow." Jessey answered.
"Eh, after tomorrow?" James asked again.
Jessey sighed and naupo sa kama ni James, "Uhm, baby. If I tell you ba na ate has to leave, will it be okay with you?"
"Hmm.." James said. "If you promise to come back, then yes. Is it for work ba?"
"Uhm, no. I have to visit a friend kasi eh." Jessey answered. "I have to go Greece to check on her."
"Her? Is it Alyssa Valdez?" James asked which surprised Jessey.
"Y-you know her?" Jessey asked back.
"So, its her nga?" James said. He's always been this 'kuya type' kind of younger brother. Parang siya pa yung mas matanda sa kanilang dalawa sa pagiging protective niya of his ate. "Mom and dad tells me about her kasi. Rainbow Dreams Cafe is hers daw and you were the one who made it." He said. "Is she your suitor, ate?"
"What? No!" Jessey said. "Did mom and dad told you that also?"
"No. I just thought she is. I see her from your Twitter and Instagram eh." He answered.
"She's not my suitor, no. She's just my friend." Jessey said. "But, if time comes na I will be the one to court her, okay lang ba sayo?"
"Of course not! She has to be the one to court you. Bawal manligaw si Ate Jessey, siya lang dapat nililigawan." James said.
Jessey chuckled and ruffled his hair, "Sometimes, ate needs to do the first move din, okay? For love." She said and smiled.
"Kaya you're going to her sa Greece?" James asked and Jessey nodded. "Is she kind? Baka naman she's just like Kuya Tom lang din? Baka she will hurt you lang din? I haven't met her pa nga eh." He said na para talagang kuya.
Natawa naman ulit si Jessey, "She is kind, James. And sobrang iba niya kay Tom. Tom kasi isn't worth the pain. But, Alyssa? She's worth every pain and sacrifice." She said with a smile. And yes, she's talking to her 13-year old brother about this. And yes, he understands. But not everything.
"How can you say those things agad? Diba, you're the one who told me na I should know the person very well muna before I can tell if I like her na or not." He said. Di talaga papatalo.
