Good Morning, Coffee Girl!

Chapter One: The Beginning.

POV: Sayaka Maizono

Location: Sayaka's Maizono's House

I'd look in the mirror, making sure that her outfit was neat and even. "Well, today's the day! I already got a tour of the school with Makoto and some others yesterday so this is my actual first day of classes!" I'd finish fixing her outfit and start jumping up and down of excitement. "I can't believe this is happening! I'm finally doing it! I'm finally living my dream!" 

I headed downstairs to get breakfast and while eating my toast, I heard a soft knock at her door. "Makoto is that you?" I'd finish her toast and get up to get the door.

"Yep!" With, that I'd opened the door to see her short, brown-haired friend. "So are you ready to go?"

"Definitely!" I'd already start walking down the street while Makoto speed walked to catch up with me. "I'm so excited! Who knows how many amazing people we're going to meet!"

"Me too! I bet our class is going to be amazing!"

While they were both walking I noticed a coffee shop with blue and purple decorations almost everywhere around it. "Woah! Makoto look at that coffee shop!" I'd tap Makoto's shoulder and point to it. 

"Huh?" He'd look at the coffee shop curiously "Oh yeah, Hope's Peak isn't far from here. Most students use this as a hang out space before and after school."

"Do you think we could go sometime?"

"Sure Sayaka, that sounds nice." We'd both smile and chit chat with each other until we reached the gates of Hope's Peak Academy. 

I'd look at the giant school and gasp in astonishment. "I know I've been inside before but I still can't believe that I'm going here." 

"Me neither, Sayaka. But, let's do it. Let's have fun here! While we're both young."

"Yep! While we're both young." I'd wait a moment, then take Makoto's hand and enter the school with him. 

Location: Class 78 Classroom

POV: Sayaka Maizono

Me and Makoto would enter the classroom together and look at all of their classmates and then sit down at some desks in the front. "It seems like not everyone is here yet. Including us, there's only 10 people."

Makoto would count the people in the room as I said my sentence. "Oh yeah, you're right. I wonder who's missing."

Just as he said that, a boy with spiky, raven hair approached the both of them. "You two! Welcome to class! I'm happy at least some people are on time. I'll introduce myself, I am Kiyotaka Ishimaru, Ultimate Moral Compass!"

I would jump a bit at his voice but then settle down. "I'm Sayaka Maizono, Ultimate Pop Sensation."

"Makoto Naegi, Ultimate Lucky Student! It's nice to meet you, Taka." 

Kiyotaka would smile at the both of me and Makoto. "Thank you. It'll be a pleasure getting to know you." He'd then turn around to everyone else. "May you all introduce yourself to these two?"

People introduced themselves and we found out the people currently in the room were named Chihiro Fujisaki, Aoi Asahina, Mukuro Ikusaba, Junko Enoshima, Leon Kuwata, Hifumi Yamada, Sayaka, Makoto and Kiyotaka. I then noticed a purple haired girl in the back of the classroom and was invested in who she was, and I went up to her. 

"Hello!" I'd look at the girl and wave.

The girl looked confused as she looked up at me. "Hello, do you need anything?"

"Ummm, not really! I just wanted to introduce myself! I'm Sayaka Maizono, Ultimate Pop Sensation!" I would smile at her and look into her beautiful purple eyes. 

"Is that it?" She didn't look friendly, but she didn't look mean or annoyed with me either. She looked more reserved, like she was scared to even say her name to anyone.

"I guess. Well, I hope that we can get along well!" I would smile softly at her, a little bit desperate for her to say something about herself.

She'd stare at me for a couple of seconds and then sigh. "I hope so too." 

I was surprised by her response, I totally thought that she would say some crude remark to me. But I smiled at her again, happy that she at least doesn't hate me. "Well, I'll see ya later!" I would wave and head back to Makoto, who was talking with Leon Kuwata, I think? 

"Hey Sayaka! Me and Leon were just talking about you!" Makoto would look excited, probably happy to meet a potential new friend. 

"Oh okay!" I'd head over to them and the three of us would talk for a while. Makoto told me that Leon wants to be a musician and I told him I could give him some lessons while Makoto watched. He looked like he was really enjoying spending time with Leon and I couldn't help but smile. He's my best friend, and I'm so happy he's so comfortable around others. The three of us would keep chit-chatting while the final students in our class slowly came in, one about 10 or 15 minutes after the others. The students were Yasuhiro Hagakure, Toko Fukawa, Sakura Ogami, Byakuya Togami, Celestia Ludenburg and finally Mondo Owada. Most of us would start talking with our other classmates and I stayed close to Makoto but I just couldn't take my eyes of her. She was so mysterious, and something about her made me desperate to get to know her more. 

More time passed and the day ended, but when I got home, nothing changed. I was still just thinking about her. But why? Is it because she has a mysterious aura about her? Or is it something more? Are we connected in some way? I'd sigh and crawl into bed, even through it was only 7:00 PM, and still think about that girl as I drifted to sleep.
