Cherry blossom rain
And water lily thunder
The moon covered in seashells and Christmas lights
She starts to swim in the lake of purple
How wonderful she thinks
Her hair starts to grow seaweed
And her eyes
Instantly replaced with tangerine starfish
Her arms and legs
Turn into tentacles
Her skin develops gills
And she dives in with pride
This is who I want to be, she dreams
Free, with no worries
Diving out she wonders,
What else shall I see?
Ah! Of course!
She grows lily pads on her back
And flies away above the clouds
She lands on Neptune
I'll stay here for awhile.
Floating around her are bright purple jellyfish
Wearing space helmets
And colorful seashells everywhere
Simply floating in the cold air
Reminds me of what I wish was my home
As she sits on the planet
She closes her starfish eyes
And dreams with her jellyfish friends.
