finally seeing the destination that took him hours to search, having him to skip dinner with his mother, jaehyun raised a brow as he found a perfect parking place. it may look like he was driving out of no where, but he knows where they were headed to. all thanks to google sunbaenim providing him with google maps.

but before switching off the engine, he raised a brow at what the older had said. ❝why is that so?❞

❝you have..❞ are they official yet? the younger haven't really told him anything about it. biting his bottom lip, taeyong lowered his head. ❝an ex-boyfriend to get back to.❞

an ex-boyfriend? jaehyun almost let out a laugh. it reminded him of how he got a slap just for telling the truth and completely breaking things of with the thai male. though, it was worth it. he felt free and he could now have a new start with someone else.

and that explains as to why he brought taeyong here.

forgetting to explain everything to the smaller male, he then took the keys with him after parking his beloved car at the side of the road. ❝get out of the car.❞

❝what?❞ the older blinked his eyes twice and raised his head up to get a clear view as to where on earth they are. he didn't get to question anything about it since the taller male had already got out, leaving him alone there.

with a deep frown on his face, taeyong slowly got out nonetheless. he then had his head tilted to the side after seeing the taller male making his way to the hood of the car. after making sure that he had closed the door, he took small steps towards the younger and got more confused as he saw him climbing up on the hood of his car and making himself comfortable.

❝jaehyun?❞ he called out, hugging his arm as the temperature is getting colder than ever.

humming at his name, the said male showed a smile as he tapped the space just beside him. ❝come here.❞

since taeyong can't go anywhere, not knowing where on earth they are as all he could see were trees and a lonely road leading straight to somewhere, he made his way to the hood of the car and just sat down there, unlike the owner of it who laid down with one foot up and the other dangling. ❝why are we here?❞

❝to watch the stars, what else?❞ his statement earned a look from the older.

❝if that's the case then we could have just done this at your backyard.❞ taeyong said, rolling his eyes before looking up at the night sky. ❝or your front yard but i don't want you to trigger the sprinklers again.❞

the memory of it made jaehyun laugh real loud. it's not like it was his first time being out on a date, he probably had gone to millions of it already, but it sure was a while since he had last had fun to a date. the dates he had with ten were sure entertaining and also fun, he genuinely loved the guy, but the date with taeyong was different.

it actually made him feel like it was the best night ever.

❝admit it, you enjoyed that night.❞ he then teased him.

❝enjoyed?❞ a scoff was heard from the older with a face of discomfort shown. ❝i was soaking wet because of you!❞

it took taeyong a while to understand what on earth he had just shouted, only catching up the moment he saw the younger widen his eyes but soon showed a wide grin the moment after. the smaller's face started to heat up and then looked away from him with his cheeks all flushed.
