The Lost Angel [A Miraculous Fanfic]

Merida POV
~ 14 years later ~
It was another day at the orphanage. As I greeted both of my friends, Leah and Alana, I laughed as Leah dropped her yoghurt. "Merida, stop laughing," she pouted, but everyone knew she was just joking.

"I'm sorry," I smiled, hugging her and laughing. "Wow, you actually apologized, I didn't think I'd ever get an apology out of you," my friend joked.

"You hypocrite," I joked back to her punching her lightly on her arm. "Oh come on, you know I'm joking," she laughed nervously.

I smiled back, looking at her scared nature.
"Hehee, I know..."

As we sat down and ate the lunch that was given, my long wavy blonde locks flew with the wind and my blue eyes sparkled in the sunlight.

"Why are you so pretty?" Alana asked me dreamily. "I don't know, maybe I'm the lost princess of Paris," I joked smiling. "Sure you are, Merida," I heard a similar voice. "Austin, what.....are...you...doing...here..!" I yelled, stuttering like crazy seeing my hot... I mean guy friend.

"So you like him," Leah whispered to me loud enough for Austin to hear.
"NO," I yelled out loud, my face flushing a deep red, and she laughed, smiling because she already knew I liked him, and now Austin did too.

"Austin babe, why are you hanging with these wannabes?" A girl with wavy long brown hair sashayed over in high heels and a short skirt.

You could say that she was the 'warden's pet' and the warden bought her everything she wanted. I don't even know why she liked her so much. It wasn't like she was her daughter.

"How are you Bianca," I smiled earning the biggest scowl. "Don't talk to me Meritrash," meritrash is basically like maritrash. Ill stop now. she replied pushing me out of the way, clinging on to Austin, my future husband.... I mean.. My guy friend.

"You good there, Austin," I smirked, looking at the way Bianca was cuddling Austin.

"You look like you're getting suffocated by the gorilla." At this, both Leah and Alana started to laugh and I could even see Austin throw me a thank you as Bianca left muttering something that I didn't hear.

As I hit Leah's hand happily, Austin came really close to me and my face turned a bright red. "Nice going, Merida," he whispered to me. "Thanks ho..."

"I mean.. Thanks Austin!" I yelled quickly fixing my mistake. "I can't believe I was about to call him hot stuff," I thought blushing a deep red when Austin came up and kissed me. I was shocked, but I kissed back and the kiss was everything I thought it'd be. It was heaven. As I pulled away, Austin smiled. "We should go out soon," he blushed.

Austin asked me out!!!!! Eeek!! Oh my god!!! Eeek!!

"Are you okay?" A voice broke my trance. "Sure, I'll definitely go out on a date with you," I smiled cheekily touching his nose, surprising myself that I didn't stutter. I left with my friends, while laughing and I swear I heard Austin say,"I love that girl." I was left giggling as lunch ended and it was time to finish our chores.

"Merida, please report to the warden's office," a voice said on the loud speaker and it sounded angry.

"What did you this time?" my friends asked me. "Nothing, I swear, I didn't pull any pranks today," I explained while sweeping the floor. "You sure?" Alana questioned me as the warden called me for a second time.

"I'd better go see what she wants," I smiled sadly. As I dropped the broom, I ran off to the office not wanting to make the warden even more angrier.

I knocked on the door and heard an impatient voice call," Come in Merida." I slowly went in, and saw the warden with Bianca, fying (Ummm. Fying is basically fake crying. I don't know. I thought this was cool to add them together cuz I suck at describing feelings. Idk). "What happened to your hair?" I asked her noticing that her hair was purple. "Don't act like you don't know," the warden replied crossing her arms nastily. "You dyed Bianca's hair."

"I didn't do anything, Mrs. Genwyre," I replied politely, because I didn't want to get even more in trouble for something I didn't do. "Yes, you did. I have had enough off your stupid, childish pranks Merida!" She shouted at me and I saw Bianca smirk and I knew that whatever punishment I was going to get wasn't going to be pleasant.

"I have had enough of you and now that you're nearly 15, I can finally get rid of you."

"What do you mean?" I questioned her politely because I wondered what my punishment was because I supposedly dyed Bianca's hair.

After what seemed like forever, the warden said with a small laugh, "You are banished from the orphanage," and my world seemed to tumble. "What, Miss, why?" I asked shocked, opening my mouth and forming a little o.

"Well, I've had enough of you, you little nuisance, now get out of here, never show your face here again." I had enough, my only home wasn't my home anymore. I pleaded with her but she didn't show any emotion, what-so-ever.

As I left, tears stained my face, and I was wondering how to say goodbye to Leah and Alana. I went to my locker, where I took out a plastic bag with all my belongings, including a couple hundred dollars I earned from chores and a spare black hoodie from lost 'n' found which smelt like dirty socks.

I also had a cheap phone I found in lost 'n' found, which I was pretty surprised when I found it a year ago, and thank god I got it first, otherwise Bianca would've stolen it. And surprisingly, the phone is in really good condition.

As I went to my locker, Austin, Leah and Alana ran towards me asking how it went, and I kissed Austin and told them what had happened, tears staining my face. "This is injustice!" Leah yelled, shocked that one of her best friends was leaving her.

"Rida, I'm going to miss you," Austin said kissing me again and again. "I'm going to miss you too," I cried as they left for the last time.

Five minutes, after they left, Bianca with her new purple hair, sashayed over to me, a broken soul. "You got what was coming to you," she said rudely and I didn't have the energy or time to handle her nonsense anymore.

"Goodbye Bianca," I struggled to not cry as I left the orphanage for the last time.

I'm so proud of this chapter. 1135 words! This is way longer than the last chapter so I'm super happy. :3
