Banging the desk with my fist, I threw my phone down and exhaled deeply.

Removing the rubber band from the stack, I licked my thumb and counted in my head. I had managed to convince Quise that I had detention and would be home in 30 minutes, that 30 minutes turned into 45 and here we are.
