Chapter 11 Dead Unicorn

"Elle I'm telling you Harry likes you." I scoffed and rolled over on my bed.
"Hermione I'm telling you my brother is in love with you!" Hermione rolls her eyes at me so I smack her across the face with a pillow. She falls over and splutters at me. I giggle and snuggle under my covers.
"I'm serious Elle!" Hermione whined.
"Mione honestly I think I should wait anyway. I'm 11! Merlin's beard. Plus I'm his best friends sister. isn't there like a code for that?"
"Well uhh I don't know! But he does like you!"
"Stop whining or I'll go tell Ron that you kiss your pillow and pretend it's him." Hermione's cheeks reddened.
"But- but t-that's not t-true!" She stutters her cheeks glowing. I just smirk at her.
"Sure."

Malfoy has been smirking at us all week. The little bastard. I just want to smack that look off his face. Excuse my language. it's colorful. We have tried to convince Hagrid to let the dragon go to which he is now calling ughh Norman...no....Nelson...no...Oh Norbert!
"He's to Little to let go! He'll die!"
"Hagrids lost his marbles." Ron muttered in Harry's ear.
"Soon Norbert is going to be as big as your house Hagrid! Let him go!" Harry pleaded.
"I can't!"
"Guys!! Charlie!" I said happily.
"I'm Ron, Elle. God your mad as well." Ron shook his head disapprovingly.
"No! Our brother Charlie. Idiot!"
"Oh."
"We could send Norbert to him in Romania and he could take care of him till letting him the wild."
"Brilliant!" Harry smiled, "what about it Hagrid?"
He nodded solemnly and we darted back up to the castle to write to charlie.

I spent the next week trying to catch up on homework, sadly. I got a letter from Charlie while sitting in the common room one night. it read.

Dear Elle belly and Ron,
How's my favorite Brunette? I'll be glad to take the Norwegian Ridgeback but it won't be easy getting him here. I think the best way would be to send him over with some of my friends who are coming to visit me. thing is Dragons are illegal and they can't be seen with it. So if you can have the Ridgeback on the tallest tower Saturday at midnight. that way they can sneak away with it while it's dark. Send me a reply as soon as possible.

"Sounds like a plan guys!" I cheer.
"We can use the invisibility cloak!" Said Harry. "it's shouldn't be too difficult, it can cover two of us and Norbert."
"Perfect!" Ron cheers rereading the letter. Harry leans over his shoulder to read it again.
"Elle belly." Harry mused smirking at me.
"Shut it, Harry."

Ron was in the hospital wing, for a bite from Norbert that no one thought to mention to me. Apparently Norbert's fangs are poisonous. He told Madam Pomfrey it was a dog but I don't think she believes it. Malfoy had went to taunt Ron earlier saying he needed a book. that slimy got just came to torment my brother.
"It'll be over soon." Harry assured Ron.
"Oh no- the letter- it's in the book Malfoy took, he's going to know we're getting rid of Norbert!"
"Ron!" I moaned shaking my head disapproving. I guess there's a glitch in the plan.

We didn't have time to change the plan because it was already set. only two of us could fit under the cloak with Norbert's cage so I was chosen to go with harry. well, I demanded. I set out with Harry under the cloak and when we got there Hagrid had Norbert packed away in a cage.
"Packed him rats an' some brandy for the journey," Hagrid said quietly. Aww he's so upset. "an' he's got his teddy if he gets lonely." OMG that's cute! Stop Elle focus.
"Bye-bye Norbert!" Hagrid sobbed we covered the cage and ourselves with the cloak. "mummy won't forget you!" He blubbered. It was difficult to heave the heavy cage all the way to the tallest tower. up millions of staircases trying to make it when the clock would hit midnight. We saw movement ahead and froze. Harry glanced at me panicked.
"Detention!" I heard what sounded like Mcgonagal coming closer. "and twenty points from Slytherin! Wandering in the middle of the night, how dare you-"
"Professor! You don't understand! Harry potters coming and he has a dragon!"
"Rubbish! How dare you tell such lies! Let's go see professor Snape about you, Malfoy."
We made it to the top of the tower and we threw off the cloak.
"Malfoy go Detention! Suck it Malfoy!" I cheered.
"Shhh." Harry chuckled at me.
Soon some broomsticks appeared and began to harness Norbert to there brooms. I liked Charlies friends...they were cheerful. When they were done we thanked the lot of them and they disappeared into the night with Norbert. Good riddance.
We made our way down the stairs happily. The burden off our shoulders. suddenly the scary face of Filch came into view. I squealed and fell into Harry's arms.
We had forgotten the invisibility cloak.
"Well we are in trouble." Filch sneered.
