It’s always dark behind the Light

Chapter One:

   Everyone has a past that always haunts them. Doesn’t matter as much as you want to forget them… or is force too, it’s always there; Eating at your inner being… your heart and soul. And deep down, very deep down… because you can’t remember it, there is a monster lying in there, waiting… counting down the days, that the day when it comes that is free, than everyone will see just what you are… and what you truly been through. This story; is my story; and my name is Alice Cullen.

   It was a normal day in forks. Dark clouds as in the sky, threating everyone that it was going to rain in a matter of minutes. The wind was blowing, making it seem more chaotic than it really was. The humans ran to get in doors, but not one person and you can’t really say she is human. A short haired girl, with gold eyes, was standing in the rain in the woods, with a smile on her face as she had her face up to the sky, letting the rain hit her face. “Alice!” A male voice went through the air, and the female had a playful smile hearing it. She moved her head and saw a blonde haired male was coming towards her, his gold eyes, looking at hers. “Why do you always stand in the rain?” He asked.

   “Maybe, because I like the rain.” Alice said to him, and in a blur she was in front of him wrapping her arms around him; his arms going around her waist pulling her close to him. “You always say that; but I love you all the same.”

   “I would hope so, Jasper.” Alice leaned forward and kissed his lips lightly. She loved these moments she had with him, standing in the rain, kissing. It was the only time she ever felt like herself…. Even if she questions herself all the time, about whom she was and what her past was. Most wouldn’t care about their past, but for some of her wanted to know… not that she told anyone any of this.

   “Let’s go inside with everyone else, before they think something is up.” Jasper whispered in Alice ear. Alice let out a small giggle. “Alright, alright; let’s go.” She said and took his hand and they both walked into the Cullen house, where the rest of their family was.  

   As they both walked in, they saw their family laughing, making jokes… just like they always have since the last battle with the Volturi. The battle was a lot… at least for her. She the one who had to see it all in her vision…seeing who all died. Alice eyes turned and looked at Jasper. Even her husband died… she shook her head slightly, and put a small smile on her face as she looked at the family. “What are all you guys doing?” The vampire asked them.

Edward turned and a smile went to his face seeing his brother and sister. “Emmett wants to take Bella on again, since she gotten used to being a vampire now. Bella hasn’t said yes or no just yet.” He informed them both. Alice couldn’t help but chuckle at this, and let go of Jasper and moved into the living room, seeing Bella and Emmett.

   “Emmett, you lost the last time. I would hate to hurt your feelings again.” Bella said and with a teasing smile on her face as she looked at her brother in law.

   “Well I think right now, I could take you Bella.” Emmett commented and looked over at Alice and Jasper. “What do you guys think? Think she chicken?” He asked, provoking Bella.

Alice couldn’t help but lightly laugh. “Emmett… I think provoking Bella is a bad move.” The vampire said to her brother and looked at Jasper. All Jasper did was have a light smirk on his face as he looked at the four vampires in that room.  Alice looked back at Bella and Emmett. “I think I know what Jasper is thinking.” Alice said with a teasing grin.

Bella looked at Edward for a moment, before standing up, and looked at Emmett. “Come on Emmett; let’s see if you can beat me this time.” She said with a smirk on her face as she walked outside, so they wouldn’t break anything in the house. Emmett stood up quick and followed after her. “Be careful Emmett.” Jasper said to his brother as he walked outside after the newly turned vampire.  Alice stood up and went over to Jasper and kissed him lightly on the cheek, before following Bella and Emmett outside. Jasper looked at Edward and chuckled. “What a normal family to have.” He said and walked out.

  “We were never normal Jasper.” Edward pointed out following after him, and seeing Emmett getting a rock once again to arm wrestle. Once Emmett put it down, he put his elbow on the rock, smirking at Bella. “You can take him Bella.” Edward said to his wife with a light smile on his face. Bella did a slight nod at Edward and put her elbow on the rock, and put her hand in Emmett hand. “Ready Emmett?” she asked.

   “Of course. I hope you can stand the painful reaction for when you lose.” Emmett said with a grin on his face.

   “The question is, can you?” Bella asked.

   “On a count of three; one, two, three!” Edward said with a laugh. Emmett gripped Bella hand tightly and started to move it to his side to win. Bella let out a chuckle and tightened his grip on her brother in law hand and went to push it her way to win. They were starting to move to Emmett side, than Bella pushed hard enough to go to her side.

   “I think they are about even…” Alice commented, as she was standing in between Jasper and Edward. Her gold eyes watching her new sister and her brother; wanting to know who was going to win this time, since the last time they did this it was over eight months ago.

Emmett let out a low growl, as Bella was pushing his arm backwards like she did last time…. Her eyes watching his, as she let out a low growl as well, using all her strength into it… it was different, without having the human blood in her body like she did last time. Soon, Bella slammed his hand down, on the rock, making her win.

   “Damn it!” Emmett shouted and threw his hands in the air, before letting them drop down. He looked at Bella. “Next time… I swear…” He said. Bella chuckled and went over to him, putting a hand on his shoulder. “Yes, until next time.” She said with a sweet smile, and moved and walked into the house; Edward following her. Emmett looked at Jasper, which was about to say something, until Emmett pointed at him. “Not a word.” Jasper put his hands up in a surrender move. “Fine, fine.” He said with a smile as he watched Emmett going into the house.

   “Until next time dear Alice… than the real fun shall begin. Have a good immortal life.” A male voice said in her head as she stood there, looking at the broken rock…

   “Alice?” Jasper said and put his hand on his lover shoulder. “What is it; A vision?” He asked her. Alice blinked a few times, not noticing she went into a daze. She looked at Jasper. “No, not a vision. Everything is okay.” She said with a small smile at her husband. He nodded, and she took his hand going back into the house, acting like nothing was wrong, but deep down, she felt like it was.
