Dear world,
A lot has happened this year
Things we only saw in theaters and read in stories
many things have changed
There has been more grief and mourning
its okay, the end is still not yet to come
we still get up, although being in strife
continue on with our lives
because this is the meaning of life
"I want things to go back to normal"
"I miss the times when we were free"
"I miss when life wasn't so boring"
""I miss how it used to be"
But you don't understand my dear world
this right here is life
on this great rock being hurled
through the universe, yet we still fight
we still continue to not understand
the cards that we have been dealt
the only thing we can think of
is how to get back to that comfort we once felt
Life is a great challenge
with many rewards along the way
But life is not what is normal
life is whatever is thrown our way
we must overcome and adapt
that is what it means to be human
to arise to the challenge
we need a solution
to change the way that we think
this situation, we must not downplay
although adversity is in front of us
we will not be beat by this plague
we will not crumble or fall
we just have to keep pushing
we have to stick together
spread love, positivity, all things mushy
because my dear world,
life does not have a normal,
life is beautiful, life is ugly,
life is all things mortal
life is anything that is thrown at you,
on this great spinning marvel
It can be tough, unimaginably
but there's that light in the distance, that hope, a sparkle
So grab a loved one, grab a beer
have a a laugh, gaze at the stars
because this is life people
lets all enjoy it, while it lasts.
