this book does have mentions of suicide and drug abuse. if you have experienced any of these things or you know they will upset you, feel free to stop reading. i will also put warnings up when the mention of the trigger occurs. i want you all to feel comfortable, but this is the plot that i'm choosing to write so i won't be upset if you choose to leave.
this is my take on a kingdom, which is basically a modernized country club edition. that's why this book isn't in the fantasy genre, it's more of a realistic fiction, just with a king and queen ruling over everything and ancient buildings.
