            i went to the tree and tired to sleep. but i couldnt. i sniffed the air. then got up and limped to a few pieces of grass that was in my reach. i started to try and eat it, but i was to tierd and in to much pain. i cuddled up against the tree and fell asleep. drops of water landing all over me woke me up. the sky was dark and it was windy and cold. the rain started to come down even harder. i got as close to the tree as possible trying to keep from getting wet. but the tree wasnt any help i still got soaked. a loud rumble shook the sky followed by a bright bolt of lightning. i was scared. i barked several times hopping he would let me in. he came to the door and smiled evilshly, then walked away. the storm contiued.i lied there the whole night, terrified, alone, cold

and in pain.

when the rain stoped i lingered over to a shallow puddle that was formed. i was shivering from the cold-ness of the night and the rain. my leg was in agonizing pain. i licked up the puddle in what seemed to be a minute. then colapsed to the wet ground with an aking, shivering body. when i woke up the missory came back. i was in my cage. i knew he had hurt me because my bone in my front leg was now popping out and there was fresh blood. the man was no where in sight. i knew i would die if i didnt eat soon. although i would rather die then live like this something gave me hope inside... something telling me that hope and happieness will come my way in a few days. happieness. i cant remember the last time i felt that. i started chewing on my front bone leg. it was my only source of protine. i was just about to fall asleep when...
