I looked at the teacher and the boy standing next to her, Mike. I scooted over to them, while still looking at Rose, who started walking the other way to the girls' hallway.

"See you later, skater," she said and gave me a smile before turning around and walking away.

I couldn't help but smile whilst turning around and looking at the teacher. Oh, who am I kidding? While checking out the boy.

He was taller than me, for about two inches, with dark blonde hair and grey eyes. He was wearing a black shirt and matching pants, with a green bowtie around his neck.

He was cute. The confidence that illuminated from him gave me a feeling he was a jock, a sports fan, a popular kid.

I knew all too well how many times I've fallen for a guy his kind. The popular, the mysterious, the untouchable. I didn't trust myself with people like him.

This is going to be interesnting.

I looked at him, making eye contact. "Hi, I'm Philip," I said, lifting my hand in an attempt of shaking his.

I was afraid. I'm not really nervous around people, but this person right here was going to be my roommate for the next year. And he just heard me come out. I had no idea where he stands with, well, gays.

"Mike," he replied, giving me his hand and flashing me a white smile. His teeth were perfect, to noones surprise.

I smiled back and got caught in his eyes. They were... unusual. Nothing I've seen befote. Grey, at first, but every inch closer, the colout starts exploding in green, blue, even purple. It looked nearly magical.

"You two will be sharing the room 69." How fitting.

"It's the last one down this hallway," the teacher showed us the way.

I lifted my bags and readjusted my backpack and went towards our room.

Before I made a second step, Mike appeared next to me. For a moment I forgot to breathe.

"Didn't expect the number 69 to be present at a catholic shool," he said. I chuckled.

"Ya think there's a room with the number 420?" I wigled my eyebrows.

We reached the room. It consisted of three rooms. The first one on the left, unlocked a bathroom with a small shower, two sinks and a toilet.

The room opposite of it acted as a some kind of warehouse. It had three wardrobes and a chest of drawers.

The last room was our bedroom/workroom. It had a bunkbed and a bed next to it. There were three desks and a nig window in the end of it.

It was modern. Fresh. Not exactly what I thought my room would look like, but I enjoyed it.

We dropped the bags and I looked out the window. The trees outside were blooming, the sun shinig brightly. It was a perfect september day.

"Only one way to find out." He smiled and went through the door.

I followed him on the hallway, a grin forming on my lips. Where are we going?

He went towards the begining of the boys' hallway and turned left. I had to speed up to catch his tempo. If I wasn't convinced about him being a sports lover before, I sure were now.

He looked back at me, cathing my gaze, making sure I was still behind him. I sucked in my breathing, trying to calm myself after literally 10 secs of running. Gosh, I hate sports.

I smiled back at him and he turned, going up the stairs. Where on Earth was he going?

I jumped quickly, just a few feet behind him. He continued his way up  passing the floors which were ruled by pupils of higher years.

Finally, after reaching the highest floor, he stopped. I caught up with him, trying my best not to die. He looked at me and winked. HE WINKED. I was breathless again. Fuck.

He turned around and ran towards a door. He opened it and stepped in. It was an attic. An old, dirty, forgotten one.

He walked in, me right behind him, and went straight to the window on the right, almost like he knew the place.

"Do you lnow this place?" I found it weird, giving the fact we're both freshmen.

"Yeah, my brother used to take me here every time my family visited him in the dorm. It was kind of our secret place. Noone knows about it, as far as I can tell." He opened the door and exited on the roof.

The view included the whole campus - the school, the dorm - of course -, the cafeteria and even the little beach house and a pool at the very East of out view.

"It's pretty."

"Yeah, it is."
