Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.
I read that over and over again in my head, trying to figure out, how. How do you smile when your life just drastically changed, and not for the better? How do you move on and accept everything that happened? How do you not cry when you leave behind the only life and place you've ever know, and loose everything you loved about it in the process?
I don't know.
That's the only answer my brain could provide.
I'm slowly drowning in these questions I can't answer. I feel so a-
"Eva? Eva, honey are you listening?" My moms voice snapped me back to the world.
"Hm?" I asked her.
She sighed, "We're here. Go upstairs and pick your room. Your cousins are coming over later so Alex can help you pack."
Alex! Yes! At least I have one friend here, apart from my brother.
"Where's Christopher?" I asked her as I stared into her warm leather brown eyes. People say I look just like my mom when she was younger. I have the same wavy blond hair and brown gold eyes. The only difference is my skin tone, it's a pale like my dad's. My mom's is a it tanner.
"I think he's deciding between rooms like you should be doing." She guessed.
"Thanks!" I answered running into the house. I ran up two flights of stairs and turned towards the voices on the third floor. Wow, we have a lot of floors.
"But this one has more windows! And that one has more room! How do I choose!" A dirty blonde haired boy wailed to my dad.
"I call the window room!" I said walking in. Christopher shrugged and walked into the other room, his ice blue eyes shining with excitement and mischief like always.
My dad smiled at me as he ran his hand through his messy dirty blonde hair. I got my trademark smirk from him and my sweet smile from my mom. Christopher has dad's charming smile and, like me, his smirk. My dad's ice blue eyes always gleam with happiness and love, especially when he looks at mom. I think it's cute how they love each other so much. I hope I find out what that's like some day.
"Need help bringing your things up, Ev?" My dad asked using my nickname. I nodded and we headed down.

I sighed. All the boxes were in my room and some furniture was placed around.
"How about you take a walk and explore the neighborhood. Christopher will join you as soon as he finished bringing up his stuff." My mom told me.
I walked down stairs and threw on some converse. I also grabbed my green jacket and walked out.
"Where you going, Ev?" My dad asked as he helped Christopher pick up a shelf.
"On a walk." I answered simply as I walked away.
I walked a few blocks before I spotted a park.
There was a field for football and baseball. Next to that there was a garden. I started heading towards the garden.
The grass was so green on the fields, it looked fresh and untouched. I should have brought my camera, this would be a great place to take pictures of. Maybe next time.
There was a group of guys about my age playing football.
I started walking again, but out of the corner of my eye, I saw something flying at me.
"Ugh." I groaned rubbing my head. I looked down and saw a football. As I did that, I noticed the blood on my hand. Great, blood. I started to get dizzy, just like the other times I've seen blood.
A group of guys ran over to me but they all looked blurry.
One of them started talking but I just heard gibberish. I think they were... apologizing?
I put the hand that was on my head down and also saw blood. I screamed.
The boys started speaking again, I think they were screaming at each other.
It didn't matter anyway, I was going to faint soon. That was when I hit the ground. I didn't know I fell, I just felt the landing. It wasn't that bad because I was already sitting.
The last thing I saw before I closed my eyes was a boy with blonde hair and the prettiest silver blue eyes running toward me.

Hey everybody,
So as you can see, I started another book!
I know I'm in the middle of a lot of books but, I really wanted to make a non-fictional one. Some of these characters are actually based off my friends.
So like my other book I'm going to ask you questions.
Why do you think Eva is scared of blood so much?
I also don't favor blood. I don't faint when I see it, but I don't love it. I'm actually more scared of needles. They either take away your blood, or they put something in you. And the worst part, it's PAINFUL. Am I the only one who thinks needles are scary?
