ANOTHER( Anazā)

Another (Japanese: アナザー, Hepburn: Anazā) is a 2012 Japanese horror anime television series produced by P.A.Works and directed by Tsutomu Mizushima that aired twelve episodes from 10 January to 27 March 2012. Based on the 2009 novel of the same name by Yukito Ayatsuji, the series is set in 1998 and focuses on a boy named Kōichi Sakakibara who, upon transferring into Yomiyama Middle School and meeting the curious Mei Misaki, finds himself in a mystery revolving around students and people related to his class facing gruesome and senseless deaths. Another was directed by Tsutomu Mizushima and produced by P.A.Works, with character designs by Yuriko Ishii, the chief animation director of the series, based on Noizi Ito's original concepts for the novel.

Another premiered in late-night slots on Kitanihon Broadcasting, TVQ Kyushu Broadcasting, and several independent TV stations, then appeared on Nippon BS Broadcasting beginning in April.

Sentai Filmworks has licensed the anime series for digital and home video release in 2012. An original video animation episode set before the beginning of the series was released on May 26, 2012 with a "0th" volume of the manga.

Plot: In 1972, a popular student in Yomiyama North Middle School's class 3-3 named Misaki passed away during the school year. Since then, the town of Yomiyama has been shrouded by a fearful atmosphere, from the dark secrets hidden deep within.

Twenty-six years later, 15-year-old Kouichi Sakakibara transfers into class 3-3 of Yomiyama North and soon after discovers that a strange, gloomy mood seems to hang over all the students. He also finds himself drawn to the mysterious, eyepatch-wearing student Mei Misaki; however, the rest of the class and the teachers seem to treat her like she doesn't exist. Paying no heed to warnings from everyone including Mei herself, Kouichi begins to get closer not only to her, but also to the truth behind the gruesome phenomenon plaguing class 3-3 of Yomiyama North.

Another follows Kouichi, Mei, and their classmates as they are pulled into the enigma surrounding a series of inevitable, tragic events—but unraveling the horror of Yomiyama may just cost them the ultimate price.

Review:

   Alright boys, girls, unicorns and dittos! This anime is consider underrated at least to me, not many of my friends know this anime or care for horror stuff, which is sad really.

What I like about this anime, is the characters is introduce right off the bat, than bam, they die horrible death!

Oooooo~ and the mystery?!!! That was amazing, hell, plot twist was something too!

If you like horror anime, check this anime out.

Oh, what I dislike? Hmm, I guess it be exact truth on how everything went to shit fast and how nurse died like that.....she was cool. She didn't deserve that fate.
