The text messages and the agreement

During that one month, Seki and Sayuri bonded over their new hobbies and interests. Sayuri's  a great listener and she comforts really well. Most of the time when she's given a problem she can answer it with a life quote, or comfort them. In this case, Seki was suffering from a temporary family problem. Sayuri figures out a way to make her feel better. This resulted to make Seki getting a little bit attached to Sayuri since her other friends didn't understand the situation...But even when Seki was in the wrong Sayuri found a way to make her feel better. So every morning since that day she greeted her a good morning send her messages and memes to make her laugh. This made Sayuri happy. This made Sayuri feel needed and wanted. A reason to live.. A spark of hope for Sayuri.

Sayuri's mother still refused to talk to her...First day of Eighth grade! Since she decided to just stay home and transfer to an online class although, she still woke up early. First period was just introductions and laughing. Sayuri didn't  notice it but Seki and 3 other old friends were also in that class. When she noticed she was delighted and texted them immediately. While texting her mother texted her through SMS.

Mama

You can do what you want
I told you you shouldn't put me
In a place where i wouldn't 
Care about you anymore.
You had your chances but you
wasted it. You are showing that
you don't need me, you don't
respect me at all. So be it! I'm
Sick of this. I give up. I'm  sick
Of telling you whats right or wrong

FINE! You don't  understand me
Anyways! Maybe I have a reason!
Maybe you just don't  know!you all
Just assume how I feel! Like you
decide it yourself!

You know I was here for you!
Why wouldn't you just tell me!

Wow like you would care! If
you truly did care you wouldn't
have given up on me right now!

Sayuri sobs in her room's seat beside her desk. She turned off her camera on her class. It was just an orientation so it was okay to turn it off. She didn't tell anyone what happened  even tho she wanted to so bad. All her problems are piling up. But she didn't want to tell anyone. "No one would understand anyway" she said to herself. She finally drank water, wiped her tears and went back to class. The classes ended. She was left sad and was in no mood to talk to anyone so she just laid on her bed watching funny cat videos. Whenever someone texted her she replied in short ways. 

A few days have passed and her father was conscious  of what's happening because Sayuri's mom and dad talk about everything. But he didn't seem to mind nor care. At this point Sayuri's loneliness got even more severe day by day and her optimism slowly fading. Each move she makes make her question her well being.... PING! Seki messaged her that she posted something about her on a social media platform that she doesn't use anymore. Seki gave her context on what it was and it warmed Sayuri's heart that even though the two of them had terrible past, she had the piece of her heart to forgive her wrongs. Sayuri decicided that she'll devote the rest of her happines to her. Although she was a bisexual person she didn't like her romantically because of the personality difference they have. Although, she does someone she has in mind for romance, she only had Seki as a friend.

That Saturday,  she was yet again harassed by her father. While hanging the clothes her father went upstairs to their room to continue working. Her father went up to her and yet again attempted to touch her chest. Sayuri was a tough ball, she refused to be violated so ostentatiously so, she stopped him. These past few weeks she kept stopping him but he doesn't react but this time it seriously pissed him off. "Why are you stopping me?" he said. "Because I can!"

"it doesn't mean you CAN means you should."

"just this morning when i was putting my feet on your thighs for comfort you shoved them and said my body, my territory"

"WE HAD AN AGREEMENT! SINCE YOU WEREN'T COMFORTABLE WITH ME DOING IT I WAS ALLOWED TO TOUCH YOU!"

Sayuri stood there in silence thinking; I only agreed to that because it was either that alone or that and doing it. I only agreed to that because I wanted Mom to be happy. BECAUSE MOM HAS NO TIME TO COOK! UGH! SO STUBBORN!  

She finished hanging the clothes, left him angry there and sat on her bed. She wasn't allowed to lock the doors of her room because she used to have seizures as a child and growing up she often had accidents where she passes out or trips faces first. Although, even if she did lock it her father has the keys for it in a place where she can see but can't reach.... The rest of the weekend was just him violating her personal space, but she just submitted to his desires even if it doesn't matter to him.
