Chapter 1: Before the Birth

The year is 2022, two years after the hit of CLOY and five years after Hyubin and Son Yejin first met for The Negotiation, the couple is in for a treat because life is going to become pretty wild. After secretly dating for years and quietly registering their marriage, the beautiful couple is now expecting, not just one but two beautiful baby girls, that's right they're having twins. The couple had never though that a line from a drama, the drama that strengthen their love for one another would come through.

SYJ: AHHHHHHHHHHHH, WHERE IS MY HUSBAND?!? Somebody tell him to come here right now or else he will be sleeping on the couch for the rest of his life.

SYJ's Mother: Sweetie relax okay? Come on breath in slowly, now out.... He's on his way, you're the one that wanted Daegu's apples and made him drive all the way there.

SYJ: He left this morning why is he not back? (sobbing throughout the entire sentence) I just want my husband and It's not my fault that the apples there taste better.

SYJ's Mother: He have to drive back to Seoul it's going to take a while and there's traffic I'm sure he'll be here when you're ready to give birth, it's going to be okay sweetie I'm here for you. (she said as she takes her daughter's hand in hers). You can squeeze my hands as hard as you want okay?

Meanwhile, in Daegu:

HB: Hyung can you drive ANY SLOWER, my wife is going to give birth any minutes now step on the pedal, would you? She's going to kill both of us if I don't make it back on time for the birth. Her sister said she's 5cm dilated already 5CM HYUNG she's going to be in active labor soon.

Manager: I'm driving as fast as I can, it's the holiday there's a lot of traffic and people everywhere. Why did you have to go all the way to Daegu today out of all day? It's Christmas and I'm stuck with you I should get a raise for being manager of the year.

HB: Yeah yeah, you're so great now please step on it and get me back to Seoul I have to be there for the birth of my babies.

After driving for another 40 mins Hyunbin has finally reached the hospital and ran out of the car holding a bag of apples for Yejin.

HB: WHERE IS SHE? IS SHE OKAY? DID SHE GIVE BIRTH YET???

Before the family could answer him, he ran into the room and see that Yejin is still in bed and is still in labor. He rushed to her side and held her hands.

HB: I'm sor—

SYJ: Yah where were you? I have been waiting for you all day, I can't believe you left me to feel all this pain by myself. You promised me that I could squeeze your hands or even pull your hair out if I wanted to when I'm in labor, but you were nowhere to be found. (she pouted after lashing all of her anger out)

HB: Honey, I'm soooo sorry I tried to get back as fast as possible but it's Christmas and there's a lot of traffic. I'm here now so you can pull my hair out all you want okay? Don't be mad at me anymore. I got you those apples you asked for. (He said with a big smile on his face)

As soon as Hyunbin finished his sentence the pain kicked in, this is it she's going to give birth she can feel it.

SYJ: AHHHHHHHHHH I'm going to kill you she said as she looks over at her husband squeezing his hands as tight as possible.

All he could do is stare at her and smile while taking in the pain because he knows that no matter how much her tight squeeze hurts him, she's in a lot more pain. He can't believe that even when she's in active labor and is cursing at him, she's still the prettiest woman he has ever seen, and he loves her so much even if she wants to kill him right now.

The doctor rushes in and tend to the pregnant woman.

Doctor: Okay Miss Son Yejin, I need you to push right now, I know you're going to be in a lot of pain, but I really need you to push when I tell you to okay?

She could only nod in response to the doctor.

Doctor: Okay now push

SYJ: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Doctor: Okay good now breath in for me and push one more time Okay?

PUSHHHHHH

Baby 1: WAHHHHHHH WAHHH WAHHH

Doctor: Good that was good now one more time

Before she know it, the second baby came out crying just as loud as the first and SYJ blacked out from exhaustion.
