𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 day, the midday sun was bright. it stared deeply and ceaselessly upon the boiling pavement. reaching over ninety degrees fahrenheit was a typical californian summer day. the group were on their way to the nearby empty lot to skate and hang out for the rest of the afternoon.
"come on. toss your board over." said ray to stevie who stood watching them climb the metal gate. "today, motherfucker." added fuckshit jokingly. the inexperienced boy attempted to toss his board over the gate but failed miserably, resulting in his board to get stuck in the metal wires.
