~The Burrow

Hermione's POV

I was staying at the burrow for the summer. It was early in the morning and the sky was purple and pink, flecked with gold(do the colors make sense?). I quietly crept out of Ginny and I's shared bed because she was still asleep. I went to the bedside table amd picked up my diary. I had this habit where I used to re-read my old entries. They always made me laugh. Has anyone else read them? Definitely not. Each entry was very detailed and--oh alright. I keep doting on Harry in each one. Truth is, I fancy him. A lot. Its a secret only Ginny and I know. Ginny, oh, amazing Ginny. She's the best when it comes to stuff like this. She also has these really cool clothes that look normal on her, but when I borrow them, or when she makes me wear them, either they emphasize whatever curves I even have, or they are a bit revealing or short. She says that if I do like Harry, I need to make the first move and make him notice me. She did this and now she's dating Neville.
Today, I was wearing one of her super long shirts, but on me it looked like a super short lilac dress, so I paired it with my own black shorts. I walked down towards the kitchen, and I fancied a walk in the garden. It was a bit cold but I didn't mind. I sat by a tree and opened my diary.

Dear diary,

Its one week before we went back to school after Christmas break. The boys and Ginny were playing quidditch in the backyard. I was just reading a book, not minding them. Gin comes up to me and snatches my book as Harry grabs my waist amd hoists me onto his broomstick! I was sitting behind him while I felt he was trying to kill me with all his stunts. I hate heights. I grabbed his waist so hard im sure I made an impression because he dived and let me down. He said, "Geez Mione, it was just a joke," while caressing his side. I stuck my tounge at him as if I was saying, you deserved it. I felt my crush on him grow bigger as he gave me an idiotic lopsised grin.
