"This is Y/n L/n, daughter of DIO," Jotaro introduces you to the three boys around your age.

You smile warmly at them, "Nice to meet you."

"Wait," the one with scars crossing his face demands in a gruff voice. "She's DIO's daughter?! Doesn't that make her an enemy?!"

You wince at his accusatory question, head hanging in shame.

Jotaro places his hands on your shoulders, "She can't help who she's related to. Y/n is not an enemy. She never even met her father."

You nod, "I've only heard about him, and I swear I'm nothing like he was."

Josuke rubs the back of his neck, "Well, welcome to Morioh."

"Yes, welcome," Koichi smiles hesitantly.

You dip your head respectfully, "Thank you. I hope I can earn your trust."

Okuyasu doesn't say anything to you but you try to not let it affect you.

|||||

They're talking about you again, you can hear snippets of their conversation.

"I can't trust her! She's the daughter of the man who destroyed my father!"

His gruff voice reaches your ears.

You think his voice sounds manly and awesome, you just wish you could hear him saying something nice for once.

You can understand where he's coming from. After all, your father was a cruel man who ruined many lives and who apparently messed up Okuyasu's dad.

But why can't he understand that you had nothing to do with it?

"Dude, it's not her fault! You're not even giving her a chance."

At least Koichi and Josuke are on your side.

Okuyasu grumbles something that you can't make out.

While they talk, you watch with pity as a child drops his ice cream on the ground. It splatters all around, creating a mess.

You make your way to the kid with a smile, "Here, let me buy you a new one. What flavour?"

You lead the kid to the ice-cream truck and purchase two frozen treats.

"Thanks lady!" The kid cheers, running off.

Smiling, you walk back to the bench you had previously occupied.

Meanwhile, the three boys had watched the encounter.

"Would an evil person do that?" Koichi asks pointedly.

Okuyasu stares, dumbfounded. He shakes his head, "She's trying to cover it up."

Josuke rolls his eyes and walks back to you, with Koichi by his side.

Okuyasu stares at them, crossing his arms before following.

He will admit that you don't seem the type to want to take over the world and be evil. But, he can't get over the grudge he has against DIO.

"I'll pay," you offer, taking out your wallet at the restaurant you and the gang occupy.

No one objects, much to your satisfaction.

"Thanks," a rough grumble states.

Shocked, you look to the scarred teen, who is looking away from you.

You smile widely, "You're welcome."

|||||

Currently sitting on the couch at Josuke's, you're watching a movie with the boys.

Munching on popcorn, you hardly register a ghostly arm resting on your shoulder. You snuggle closer to the presence before realizing who it is.

Okuyasu's Stand, [The Hand], is seated next to you, holding you close in a rare display of affection.

Smiling, you return your focus to the screen.

Okuyasu walks back into the room to see why his Stand appeared. He flushed beet red as he witnesses the sight of his Stand hugging you.

"What the-?" He is quick to banish his Stand.

You frown slightly at the missing presence and turn to see a flustered Okuyasu.

"Hey, Oku! Come watch the movie! Want popcorn?" You invite.

He shakes his head, muttering under his breath. Walking out, he leaves you watching after him in concern.

"Odd."

|||||

It's raining.

You have an umbrella which gives you cover from the wet drops.

Across the street, an older lady is walking. She doesn't have an umbrella and is being assaulted by the heavy rain. You notice her hands clasping a bag of groceries.

Quickly crossing the street, you stop her with a kind smile, "Here, ma'am, take the umbrella, you need it more than me."

She tries to refuse, but you have none of it.

In the end, she takes the umbrella with a multitude of thanks.

You grin as you continue walking only to come face to face with Okuyasu.

"Oh, hi, Oku."

Glancing around, you can't see the other who are usually around him.

"Hey, Y/n," he avoids looking directly at you. "I saw what you did back there."

"Oh?"

"That was- that was nice of you," he mumbles.

You shrug, "'Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.' It's called 'the Golden Rule' and I try to live by it."

He doesn't say anything as the rain beats down relentlessly. He can't help but steal glances your way, admiring the way the rain catches in your hair and rolls down your cheeks.

"Okuyasu , I know you don't like me very much, but I would love to move past the sins of my father. I don't know what he did to your father, but I am truly sorry," you admit. "I want to be friends."

He doesn't say anything for awhile.

"I know I'm not the smartest, but I try to listen to what my heart says... and at first it told me to push you away but now I can see that you're nothing like your dad. I'm sorry for treating you harshly."

You smile up at him, "It's alright. I'm so glad you're willing to forgive."

He slowly wraps his hand around yours and begins to walk beside you. A phantom grasps your other hand, as his Stand makes itself known.

"Let's get out of the rain," he says.

You squeeze his hand gently, smiling wide.

Looking at him, you admire him. His two-toned hair is becoming unruly under the rain's intensity but it only adds to his rugged handsomeness. His brown eyes hold a sweetness that shines through as he walks beside you.

"I'm glad I met you, Oku."

His cheeks are dusted with pink at your honest words, "Same."
