Chapter 2: Invitation

Hologram C: Hello! I am here to cordially invite you to The Multiversal Clash! Or rather the test run. It's a tournament comprised of multiple universes who compete for bragging rights. And I'm inviting you! Whether you want to compete or just experience a different culture at the Multiversal Fair Grounds! If you want to accept simply hit the accept button at this date.

A holographic display pops up showing tomorrow's date at 12 pm.

C: Yep anyways. I've gotta invite some other people, so I'm just going to go.

C hops up and heads to the door with Noth.

C: See ya there. Or not I don't know.

He and Noth both leave and head back to their house.

Yang: So we're obviously going right?

Ruby: Of course!

Summer: I wanna meet people from another universe too!

Suddenly a portal opens under Weiss and she falls through. C catches her and sets her on her feet.

C: Hey can I get you to set up the fairgrounds for REM?

Weiss: In one day?!

C: No, if you can, I'll give you as much time as you need. Just trust me I can control space and time.

Weiss: Okay, so when do you want me to help?

C: We're going to go ask Blake if she wants to help, so if you want we can bring you with us.

Weiss: Alright let's go.

Noth nods to C as he bursts into flames and disappears. They teleport to Blake's house and knock on the door. Blake's father Ghira answers the door.

C: Hello sir. I'm C, and this is Weiss. We're friends of your daughter and we were wondering if she was here.

Ghira: How did you get here without someone alerting me?

C: I can teleport.

His wife walks beside him and gently pushes him out the way.

Kali: Hello, how can I help you?

C: We're both friends of your daughter is she in?

Blake: Mom who is it?

Kali: Oh dear it's your friends. Weiss, and a very sexy man.

Blake comes downstairs and sees C and Weiss. C waves at her and Blake walks up to him and gives him a hug.

C: It's good to see you, Shadow-Cat.

Blake: You too, C.

Blake then hugs Weiss. Once they separate C smiles and explains the situation to Blake.

Blake: So you're hosting a big tournament and want me and Weiss to help run the section reserved for our universe?

C: Yep. With you being a faunus and Weiss being Weiss I think you're both the best ones to figure out what you want to showcase about here the most.

Blake: Sounds like fun. When do we start?

C: Now actually. I'll bring you guys to the grounds and if you want you're family can come too.

Ghira: I don't know about this.

Kali: Oh come on Ghira, it will only be a couple of days and besides you can help teach people about faunus.

Ghira:...Very well. I cannot win an argument against Kali anyways.

C: Great! Let's go.

C opens a portal and steps through. The other follow him into a black void. Yet despite it being a void they have no difficulty seeing anything.
