Another day, another video.

Mark set up his recording room for yet another thrilling experience of goofing off in the most dangerous and stupid ways possible. He and Ethan were going to attempt to put together their own DIY nukes. They were more going to be miniature fireworks but nothing stopped them from using their dumb imaginations. Ethan knocked on the front door right on time and joined Mark with the finishing touches of the set up. They then sat down on the couch, put on a goofy grin and looked to Amy at the camera set up.

"Ready to record?"

Amy gives them a thumbs up and they begin their usual recording session. Mark explains the thought process of the idea for the video, rambling on about jumbled facts regarding nukes and the likes. Ethan listened to him a bit, looking around the room and fidgeting with his hands. He found himself a bit lost in thought, staring at Amy's figure holding the camera.

"We're going to do this safely of course because we don't want to die.  You on the other hand, should not try this at home. Ever. Right Ethan?"

"Huh? Oh.. yeah, don't do this. You will die," Ethan responded with chuckle.

"Exactly, this channel might be dying but we sure aren't! I mean, not today at least." Mark laughed at his own commentary.

Ethan laughed with him. "Well I mean, we can't die if we're already dead, Mark."

Mark's ears pricked at that statement. It didn't ring like any other bit they've played off with, any other joke or goof they shared. His expression drooped and eyes dimmed. "...already… dead…?"

Ethan's laughter slowed and his eyes became concerned. "Yeah Mark… we're dead."

Mark fell silent as he stared at Ethan. No… you're kidding…

"You… didn't know…"

You have to be joking…

"You… thought this was real…"

"Wh..what do you mean, Ethan?" Mark suddenly snapped, his voice suddenly sounding gruff as if Ethan's words dried up his throat. Ethan stared at him for a moment with sad eyes for his lost friend and gulped, trying to put his words out. Mark grabbed Ethan's shoulders aggressively as his eyes filled with rage and confusion. "Goddammit Ethan, what do you mean?!" He shouted at him.

Ethan's eyes began to tear up as he opened his mouth slowly. "None of this… is real… Mark…"

"None of…" Mark lets go of Ethan and turns away, looking around the recording room slowly. His eyes go back and forth before sticking to Amy's figure holding the camera. He looks her up and down, examining her clothing that's been the same every single day. He looks up at her face- covered by the camera. Her short brown locks of hair outlined her head, but he couldn't even see her eyes.

"Amy…" Mark's voice quivered as he stood up.

"Amy..?" He repeated, slowly approaching his lover with a tear roll down his cheek. He reached to grab a hold of her and the figure faded out of appearance. Mark's arms remained wrapped around his chest, hugging what should have been Amy in his arms as he fell to his knees.
