shaking his head, a hand was placed on the taller's face and taeyong started to caress his cheek softly. ❝nothing will happen, okay? you don't have to worry.❞

their lovely moment was soon ruined by a clapping of hands, making the both of them move away and snap their heads to the gates' direction, seeing a familiar figure leaning by the pillar with a gaze glaring at the taller male right next to taeyong. even he was surprised to see him there, he could have sworn he heard him tell his driver that he'd once again get home late because of practice.

❝so after that actor, who do we have here?❞

❝jaehyun?❞

the shorter male that had to witness the two having lazer shot in their eyes had so many questions in mind but he knew he can't just stand there and watch till the both of them would start throwing fists at each other. taeyong then quickly approached the student that's not from his school and took his wrist, trying to drag him away from there.

but jaehyun stood still in his place as he continued to threaten the biker with his look. ❝and there, i actually believed that you don't know him.❞

johnny stayed unbothered with a shrug. ❝not my problem that you believed.❞

a shriek almost got out from the smaller's mouth when he felt jaehyun moving as if he wanted to start a fight with the biker, his hands can also be seen clenching. ❝i swear—❞

❝jaehyun.❞ taeyong's stern voice that got the two look away from each other's glares and now had their eyes softened as they looked at him. ❝let's go home.❞

as much as he wanted to at least place a punch on that face of the biker's, he didn't want to disappoint taeyong more or make him upset than how he already looked. it's just that, the sight of them looking that close had his insides flip and not in a good way.

seeing that starting to walk away, johnny took a step forward and called out before they could get inside the car that's parked right in front of the gates. ❝wait!❞

the two turned around with taeyong having an adorable puzzled expression while jaehyun had a brow raised more likely looking like he didn't want to hear what he had to say.

❝see this?❞ the taller warned him as he raised his clenched his fist up for jaehyun to see. ❝you'd get to taste this once i hear you being an asshole to my friend.❞

a scoff was heard from the male and it alarmed taeyong, having him pull quickly and push him inside the car before he'd have him also having a worst threat to johnny. he only passed a small smile to his friend before motioning his hand to call him once he gets home. after that short interaction, he got inside the car and shut the door tight as he adjusted himself right next to the frowning guy that had his arms folding across his chest.

taeyong can't help but roll his eyes at how childish he looked, giving the man by the driver's seat a small smile before watching the car drive away from his school.

it was quiet for the first couple of minutes until the two gathered balls to break the ice between them, having them to speak both at the same time.

❝why are you here? don't you have basketball practice?❞

❝are your friends usually that over protective?❞

they then looked at each other with wide eyes, not expecting to have their questions clashing. surprisingly, they actually understood it somehow and answered it the next moment.
