Ruby was extremely delighted due to the comforting air of love in the atmosphere and the romantic scenes playing all around her. She opened her basket and and saw the last bag of cookie meant for Alucard and smiled as she made her way to the castle where he is most likely training even in this special day. 

While walking she passed by Hayabusa and Kagura flirting under a cherry tree. She also nearly stepped over Chou who was passed out on the road because of extreme happiness due to the fact that 'a cute loli girl' gave him something for Valentines. 

Selena was feeding her weird Demonic snake while Moskov ate the baked treats beside her. Beleric and Lunox are sharing a bag of her home made sweets, Leomord is feeding his horse, while Odette accepts a confession form Johnson. 

Wanwan pursues Ling forcing him to wear a cute skirt while the old geezer Baxia watches them in amusement. There's also Lu Yi and Yu Zhong, what the duck? Since when did that happen? 

There was a certain skip in every step as she played romantic scenarios in her head about her and Alucard. She was completely engulfed in her reverie that she didn't notice the rushing vehicle intersecting her path as she crossed the road. 

Ruby shrieked as she finally noticed Johnson speeding up towards her however someone pulled her back just in time to avoid making a bloody red pulp of her. She felt herself fall on the ground but instead of the course hard soil she felt something a little softer yet still relatively hard break her fall. 

Ruby closed her eyes tightly shut as she held her breath, stupefied by the whole incident. Her brain cannot process any logical cognitive thoughts due to the sudden near death experience but she did register soft caring hand running through her hair and a comforting soft voice reassuring her that everything is fine now. She lifted her head and met the person in the eyes even though her vision is a bit blurry because of the tears suddenly building up in her sockets. 

"Wha-I just... What happened? Am I dead? Wh-who are you?" she asked a bit frantic and confused. She stared at the blond boy clad in white and gold making her look like a lost sad kitten while he gazed at her with caring eyes. 

"You're okay now. You're safe. I won't let anything in the world hurt you. Can you tell me your name? Should I bring you to the hospital?" she heard the man say as he helped her get back on her feet. 

"I-I- Oh no!! Alucard's cookies!!" she exclaimed once she finally noticed that her basket had fallen off. 

She found her basket destroyed as the car seemed to have run it over but luckily the cookies were still fine although some are a bit crushed. 

"You're thinking about cookies while you just nearly died. That is quite terrific but Lady you need to get your priorities straight. Is there anything hurting in you?" The man looked really concerned but Ruby couldn't register his words as she thought whether or not she should still offer this to Alucard. How can she confess and then give him some cookies that has been run over by a car? That would be completely embarrassing. 

"Who cares about how I feel?! How can I tell him now that I like him?! This is a disgrace! It would be like an insult to him if I give him this. Maybe I should just go home and bail." Ruby cried out in lamentation as she sniffled.

"Hey, hey, hey, you shouldn't let one bad experience govern your decision making. I know that you're a wonderful person once people get to know you better and you seem very dedicated, sweet, and caring. Don't let your efforts go to waste just because of a few destroyed cookies. If you want to say some thing you should say it. If they like you, they like you and if they don't... Then it's their lost because I know you're incredible." he said while wiping her tears with his handkerchief where she even blow her snot out.
