You shot out of bed, heart thumping, tears streaming down your face and drenched in sweat.
You took a breath, attempting to calm yourself down as you stared around the darkness of your dorm room.
A nightmare
You thought, wiping your eyes as you were thankful none of it was real.
However, you were too scared to go back to sleep, with the thunder outside, and the dream still fresh in your mind.
You sniffed, standing up and quietly making your way out of your room.
You quickly headed down the stairs to the boys floor and navigated the hallway to Kirishima's room which was next to Sero's.
Using your quirk, you easily walked through the locked door, feet hitting his plush carpet.
Kirishima was fast asleep on his bed, snoring softly with a smile on his face.
You felt a little guilty about waking him up like this, but you were frightened, and needed him right now.
Plucking up enough courage, you gently shook his sleeping form, still fighting back tears.
Kirishima groaned, eyes flickering open as he made out your face in the darkness.
"(Y/N)...? What are you doing here? It's late..."
He murmered, still half asleep.
When you didn't answer, he grew concerned, sitting up slightly.
"What's wrong?"
he whispered.
That's when you burst into tears, biting on your lip to quiet your sobs down.
"Baby.."
Kirishma mumbled, pulling you into the bed with him and shifting so that you were wrapped in his arms.
"Shhh...it's okay, don't be scared. I'm here baby"
He cooed into your hair, stroking it as he craddled you in his arms.
"It's okay honey... don't cry.. I've got you"
His voice was so soothing, calming you enough to speak.
"I-I had a nightmare.."
You whimpered, crying into his chest.
Kirishima frowned, chest tightening at the sound of your cries.
He hated it when you cried.
He wanted to hurt anyone who made you cry.
"I-In the dream...y-you died" you paused to take a small breath,
"Eiji it w-was so real! I w-was so scared! P-please don't leave me, ever!"
His grip on you tighted, and he couldn't help but feel angry with himself.
You were hurt and he couldn't do anything about it.
"(Y/N)..honey..I will never leave you, okay sweetie?"
You gulped,
"Promise?"
He nodded,
"I promise..because I love you"
You turned red, hiding your face in his shirt as you whiped away your tears.
That was the first time he said 'I love you'.
"Really?"
He didn't answer, kissing you roughly, hand running through your hair.
"I love you."
He whispered before kissing you for a second time,
"God I love you"
He said in between kissing, assaulting your mouth with his own as he rubbed and squeezed your body.
"I can't even describe how much I love you"
Your heart swelled, as he kissed your neck, mumbling words of praise and love.
"I-I love you too Eiji"
You whispered breathlessly, tears drying as he continued to pepper you with kisses and nips.
When he was done, he snuggled close to you.
"Next time you have a nightmare, come to me, okay baby?"
You nodded, sighing as he gently rocked you.
"I don't want you to ever be scared again, okay baby?"
He played with the strands of your hair.
"I want you to know that I will always be here for you..always?"
Kirishima gave you a squeeze, settling down in the covers.
With him around, you doubted you would have another nightmare again.
