"Sorry to shatter your dreams, princess, but that's never going to happen. I'd rather fail this exam than work with shitty Deku," he spat, his voice dripping with venom. "So just stay the fuck out of my way during the exam unless you want to get blown up."
I stiffened from his response. Hearing this, I knew that I should give up trying to crack through the arrogant boy and just walk away, but my own stubborn brain decided to something else. My body suddenly lunged forward, making Katsuki flinch from how close our faces were. I don't know if it was the fact that I didn't want to fail this exam, Katsuki's harsh words or from the memory of my green-haired friend's sad and guilt-ridden face but either way I was pissed.
"Wrong answer," I growled as I reached out and grabbed the hedgehog's right earlobe and pulled him out of his chair.
"OW! WHAT THE FUCK, SAKURA! LET ME GO!" He yelled painfully as I dragged him across the room by the ear, making stumble on his feet.
"I warned you, didn't I?" I muttered, keeping a tight grasp on his earlobe between my forefinger and thumb. With my other free hand, I swung the door open and yanked him out of the room with me.
I continued to tug my teammate with me as we walked down the hallway, ignoring all the possible cuss words he could think of that spat from his mouth. We were rounding a corner, when I saw another figure walking in front of us, making me halt. My eyes widened when I saw a familiar, red and white-haired boy staring back at me, bewilderment written all over his face.
"Shoto!" I shot him a overly sweet smile, acting completely normal as if I wasn't holding Katsuki by the ear. "Back so soon?"
"Um yeah," he replied, his eyes then gazed over to our classmate beside me. "Am I interrupting something?" He questioned with his brows raised.
"Pshh nah you aren't interrupting anything," I waved my hand as I nervously
chuckled. "You know, just having a friendly conversation with my teammate here," I pointed my thumb back at Katsuki.
"Tch."
Just then, Katsuki ripped away from my grasp and glared daggers at me. "Don't ever do that again," he snarled at me before walking down the opposite side of the hallway.
I cursed myself for losing the wild animal. I heaved out a defeated sigh before turning back to my friend. 'I sure was going to have to pay for that later.'
"Sorry you had to see that," I said, giving Shoto a apologetic smile. "Good job by the way on passing your exam."
"Thanks," he bowed his head slightly. "We almost lost the battle, but thanks to Yaoyorozu's plan, we managed to get through."
At the mention of our vice rep, I recalled back to when Shoto's dumb plan and how he had done it without discussing it with his partner.
"Yeah, you were lucky that she had a smarter plan than that rushed and idiotic plan of yours," I smirked, crossing my arms. "You should be grateful, you know. If it wasn't for her last minute plan, I'm not sure if you guys would have passed."
I saw Shoto's eyes widen before turning his head to the side and gripped the back of his neck. "I didn't know you saw that," he muttered.
"I said I would watch," I shrugged my shoulders. "Although what I don't understand was why you decided to put all the pressure of the exam on yourself. Momo is a dependable partner even when she just lacked self-esteem," I said, slightly tilting my head to the side.
Shoto was quiet for a few moments before lifting his eyes to my sight again. Just by taking one look at them, I knew there was something troubling on his mind.
