'Oh, hell no.' I told myself as I started to stomp my way towards the exit of the screening room, suddenly getting all worked up.
"Sakura-chan? Where are you going?" I heard Izuku call out nervously behind me from my sudden movement.
"I'm going to go have a little chat with our teammate," I mumbled over my shoulder as I grabbed the door knob.
"W-Wait! A-Are you sure t-that's a g-good ide-"
But I had already shut the door behind me before Izuku could finish his stuttering mess of a sentence. I walked down the hallway towards the waiting rooms, intent in every footstep. 'There was no way we were going to fail this exam. I'm going to make sure of it.'
I reached the waiting room and swung the door open, revealing a very unamused Katsuki leaning against the chair with his legs propped onto the table and his gauntlets resting on his stomach.
"What the hell do you want, small fry?" he muttered.
"I just came to talk to my dear old teammate," I replied straightforwardly, ignoring his rude greeting as I walked towards the table to stand in front of him.
"Tch. Did that damn nerd send you here?" His piercing red eyes narrowed at me.
"No, I came here by my own choice. I want to talk to you about our exam."
The ash blonde scoffed. "There's nothing to talk about. I don't need to hear some sappy speech about teamwork from you," he spat, turning his gaze to the side.
I felt my eye twitch in annoyance as I slapped my hands on the table, making him jerk his head back to me. "Well that's too bad since you're going to hear it anyways," I glared back at him. "I already know what you plan to do at our exam."
"Yeah, I'm going to beat All Might into a damn pulp," he replied bluntly, his expression showing that he was dead serious.
"Katsuki," I let out a exasperated sigh as I shook my head, "do you realize how fucking stupid that sounds?"
"I DON'T CARE! THAT'S WHAT I PLAN TO DO SO JUST PISS OFF!" He boomed.
"May I suggest another and better plan?" I asked nonchalantly, ignoring his childish outburst. He muttered something underneath his breath, no doubt cursing me. I took that as sign to keep talking. "If we want to pass this exam, we all are going to have to work together as a team. That means you working with Izuku while not beating him up."
"HA! Me?! Work with that worthless nerd?!" He gave me a mocking laugh. "That's fucking hilarious, small fry," he shook his head in disbelief.
I frowned at his unbearable stubborn attitude. "Honestly Katsuki, would it kill you to put your rage aside for a few minutes to work with Izuku just this once?"
"Probably not, but I might kill him."
I rolled my eyes from his bullshit response, finally starting to get frustrated at the angry dandelion and his egotistical behavior. "Jesus Christ, Katsuki," I groaned, flailing my arms. "It's not like I'm asking you to hold hands with him, paint fucking unicorns, and ride off into the sunset!"
Katsuki just snorted at this, turning his head to the side with a cocky smirk on his lips. 'Is he actually enjoying this?' I let out a long exhale, my patience becoming paper thin. "Katsuki, I'm only going to ask you this one more time," my voice was full of warning. "Please just try to work with us during this exam."
I stared right into his crimson eyes, silently pleading that he would finally listen. For a second, I saw a fraction of softness in his eyes and I actually thought that I had convinced him. But just as fast, his usual annoyed expression returned.
