No one's ever really gone ( a Rexsoka fanfiction)

Chapter 1

~Ashsoka's POV~

We were on the battle field of Naboo. Clones were shooting battle droids left and right and battle droids were shooting clones. I was beside Rex and his team we were fighting the battle droids trying to get in the city. Rex's intercom blinked and he answered a few of the battle droids had sneaked passed them and placed a couple of bombs in the city. Rex was sent the location of all the bombs and quickly gathered a team and headed into the city. I stayed behind to keep the battle going Cody came to take Rex's place and help me. Few minutes later an explosion went off on the east side of the city then other went off at west side then other at the entrance

"Look the clankers are retreating" Coby yelled.

I looked to see all the droids getting in the ships and leaving "they didn't leave for the last three so that means...oh no" I got up and ran towards the city Coby followed behind. As soon as we got to the entrance the last bomb went off a big gust of wind flew towards me and knock me down.

There was a loud ringing in my ear as I laid on the ground. I slowly sat up and looked at the city it was in flames. I could see some off the troopers going to help the civilians I got up and ran in the city remember why I ran to it in the first place.

"Rex!" I yelled hoping to get a response. "Rex where are you!" I looked behind me to see several troopers laying on the ground. "Rex..." I ran over to him quickly I search for a puls but couldn't find one. I laid my head on his chest to listen for a heart beat. There wasn't one I sat there beside him and started to cry "please don't leave me I need you"  I sat there until some troopers found me and took me away to my master.

I jumped up and took sharp breaths. I looked around to see most of the clones were awake. I decided to get up myself I got changed and walked up to the bridge to see my master already awake he turned around to greet me "Goodmorning snipes" he said crossing his arms "Goodmorning master how is everything" I asked "not good we just got word that Obi-wan was captured by Dooku and his troops" I snarled at the name. I didn't like him at the binging of the war he really didn't bother me but now I hated him more then anything. He was the one who ordered those droids to place those bombs. He was the one responseable for Rex's death and all those other innocent troopers. I clenched my fist and my teeth. I wanted to kill him but it wasn't the Jedi way so I let my anger die down. "So what are we going to do" I asked.

"Later me and you along with a group troopers are going to ambush their base and free him" he said showing me the lay out of the base "I just hope we're not to late" I said immediately remember Rex but quickly trying to forget the thought and listen to the plan. But the thought was still there and it made a tear escape my eye I missed him so much but there was nothing I could have done he was gone just like all those other troopers.
