DKNK2: Singing Bee 2.0

Yael's POV

I'm here at Country Club somewhere in Sta. Mesa, ofcourse with my band and some closest friends.

Then, I met this girl named Karylle. She's beautiful and nice. She's also the only girl whom I gave a second look. Common friend namin sya nina Paolo Valenciano and sina Tin na rin.

"Hey! Wanna start later afternoon or now na?" Argh! Tin is now getting mad na, inip na siguro sya.

We'll playing Singing Bee 2.0 hosted by our band manager Trix and my bestfriend, Kim.

Syempre ang mga songers namin ay sina Armo at Paolo. Sa pagpili ng songs, there are this lovely couple Tin and Gino.

"We better start na siguro.." Paolo whispered.

The first one who play is Karylle, followed by our Lolo, then Ted and the last but not the least, me.

"Here's your first song.. Karylle." Trix finally started. "Last Christmas.." He added.

Oh! Armo is the one who will sing for Last Christmas. Let me hear.

Armo:
♪ Last Christmas, I gave you my heart..
But the very next day, you throw it away..
This year, save me from tears..
I'll give it -- ♪

"♪ to someone special.. ♪" -Karylle

Nays. Everbody knows that song, but still she did great.

"Yay! Galing mo friend." What a supportive friend, Tin Gamboa.

"Gosh, it's your turn now. Here's your song.." Kim started. Parang kinakabahan si Lolo ah. "Forevermore.."

Ang swerte ni Lolo Gosh ah, syempre masasagot niya yun.

Paolo:

I never thought I would be -- ♪

"♪ right for you.. ♪" -Gosh

Whoa! He did it, galing ni Lolo. Haha! Parang kota na ko sa katatawag sa kanya ng Lolo ah.

"And now it's Ted's time to play.. your song is Somewhere down the road." Oh, men! Your dead, Ted.

Paolo:
♪ We had the right love at the wromg time..
Guess I always knew inside, I haven't -- ♪

Go Ted, you can do it. Answer na dali, I'm excited to play na eh!

"♪ love you for a long time.. ♪" Teka bro, parang mali yun ah!

"Nice Ted, gawa ng sariling lyrics?" Here's Armo, the forever makulit ang pang-asar sa banda. Tandem sila nyan ni Ted. Hahaha!

"Binago na ba yung lyrics? I'm not informed." That's how Ted makes palusot everytime he says something wrong.

Then we all laughed, even Karylle. She looks prettier when she smiles.

"Nako Ted, tama na ang palusot mo dyan. Yael, it's your turn. Same song lang ah!" -Kim

"Ay, wala na. Nakapag-isip na sya nyan. Duga!" Wow Ted, ako pa talaga maduga ah.

Whatever he says. Then, Paolo started to sing the same song again.

Paolo:
♪ We had the right love at the wromg time..
Guess I always knew inside, I haven't -- ♪

Yah! It's my turn now.

"♪ HAVE you for a long time.. ♪" I really stressed the word have for Ted to realize that have is different from Love.

"Have pala yun. Oh, bakit? Rhymed naman sila ah." Ted reacted again and wants to save his mistake kanina.

"Ted, don't worry we still have one song.. if hindi masasagot ni K or ni Gosh." Ginoboi ano yon? Pampalakas ng loob o pampahina?

Well, don't assume Ted. For sure Karylle can answer it, singer eh!

And that what's happened. Ted is now eliminated, and we proceed to the second round. This time, Gosh doesn't gave the right lyrics. But he still have the whole third round to make bawi.

"Third round na guys! Excited. Here's your song, Silent Sactuary's Rebound." -Kim announced.

Whaat? Rebound? Not too familiar. We are SPONGECOLA eh, ofcourse the song of other bands are not too familiar to us.

Armo will be the one to sing, take note ah, we're not using any instruments. Akapela ang trip namin.

Armo:
♪ O kay bilis naman
Magsawa ng puso mo..
Ganyan ka ba talaga
Bigla na lang naglalaho.. ♪

Karylle:
♪ Para bang walang nagyari
di mo man lang sinabi.. ♪

Gosh:
♪ Sana'y hindi na lang pinilit pa
Wala ring patutunguhan
kahit sabihn ko pang
Mahal kita.. aaahh.. ♪

My turn:
♪ Nalulungkot, nayayamot, nagmumukmok
Hindi ko pa yata kaya pang
labanan ang damdamin ko.. ♪

And that's how it goes. We end up as talunan ni Gosh. Karylle won!

She's great, never nga syang nagkamali eh.
