Gusion II

"She's lucky I don't have my sniper with me!" Lesley grumbled, "Who does this girl think she is! She can't possibly be that rude to anyone who gets in her way! She almost slapped your face!"

"It doesn't matter Lesley," I said, "She got what she deserved, getting her hand squashed." Lesley chuckled, putting her strands of her long, soft magenta hair out of her face. Though I tried to hide my remembrance of Guinevere, I couldn't. She was the first person I fell in love with, and I still am in love with her. I knew I deserved that slap she nearly gave me for leaving her but I knew it was for the best. Everyday I wished for her to come back to me like what she did in the forest but I never thought that my wish would come true. I could never forget her, Emerald green eyes and curly ginger hair.

"Gusion?" Lesley said, snapping me out of my gaze, "I thought I lost you for a second!" She grabbed my face and gave me a peck on my lips. "I should probably head to Marksman class now," she continued, "See you during lunch?" I nodded my head, watching her as she made her way up the stairs to the gate.

"Checking out your girlfriend again?" Granger appeared out of nowhere, "yeah, I was here all along, I even watched that red haired girl separate your ass from Lesley."

"Get a life Granger!" I responded.

"What's there to gain a living from?" He shot back

"I'm heading to mage class now!"

"you know, I never thought you'd actually start dating Lesley, I thought you'd play her like all the other girls you 'befriended'" he said, and his crimson eyes were still as emotionless as ever.

"You know nothing about love!" I punched his chest, but as usual, I got my fist hurt instead.

"You're nothing compared to me," He patted my head like I was his pup. I then speeded to mage class and sat back on my seat. "one, two," I counted, "three." right then, the school bell rang and most mages where teleported to the class with Luo Yi, another one of my Ex-girlfriends.

"Who are you staring at?" She gave me a stinking look, then when she noticed that she was staring at me for too long, she started to become red and quickly turned her head away.

"Gusion! Can I sit here?" Lunox asked.

"Just because I kissed you doesn't mean I like you," I replied.

"I was going to ask if you could come to my birthday party today! You're so stuck up you know that? I don't even like you either!" Lunox stomped away from my table, back to her seat.

"Click-clack" The sound of Teacher Odette's heels entering the classroom was a signal for everyone to head back to their seats. "Good morning students! Today we have a new student joining the class!" Everyone then stared at the girl behind her.

"She's beautiful!" a student said.

"I want to be her friend!" said another.

"Hello, my name is Guinevere, I've recently enrolled into this academy. I hope you all will guide me," Guinevere explained. Her voice was beautiful as ever.

"She can sit next to me Miss!" I raised my hand.

"Miss," Guinevere looked back at Miss Odette, "If you don't mind, I'd like to sit somewhere else."

"Now, Guinevere, you shouldn't be rude to Gusion, go sit next to him" she patted her shoulder. Guinevere chose not to cause a scene and decided to obey Miss Odette. 

"I've missed you," I said, "Sorry about what happened with you and Lesley, She's... a close friend of mine."

"I thought she was your girlfriend, seeing how close you two really where," Guinevere looked into my eyes, she always knew if I was lying. The truth was, I love Lesley, I really do, but Guinevere was the first person I ever loved. That's what got the best of me. All this time, I thought flirting with every girl in the school was to take my mind off Lesley but it really was for Guinevere.

"Why did you leave me?" Guinevere broke the silence, her eyes swelled up. I never even told her the reason for me wanting to leave my family. Come to think of it, I never really opened up to Guinevere. The only thing I told her about was the Land of Dawn, not because I wanted to go to some academy for battle techniques but because it would allow me to stay hidden from what I was afraid of, leaving Guinevere closer to what was coming not just for me, but for her too.

"I made a mistake," I stared blankly to my desk, "Everyone makes mistakes." I knew my response was unforgivable but that was what I could only come up with. The only way to keep her safe was to keep her clueless. That was what mattered to me.

"That's not a valid reason, that's the worst sentence I ever heard coming out of your mouth!" Guinevere yelled, putting the whole class's attention towards us. "I'm sorry miss, could I use the restroom?" she asked. Before Teacher Odette could say a word, she jolted out of the door.

"Oh my gosh, did you harass her?" Harley, Lesley's little brother asked, sarcastically. "You know, You're not fit for Lesley, you're just a K-pop freak!" with a sway of his wand, he turned me into a sheep. "That wears off in ten minutes you cotton blob!" he teased.

"Mahhhh" I tried to speak, but words got translated to sheep.
