Silent Flight

Chapter 1-take flight

(Y/N)'s POV
BEEEEEP BEEEEEP BEE-
"Ugh shut up" I said as I hit the button on my alarm clock to shut it off. I sat up in my bed and stretched my arms and legs out feeling my body awaken was the most amazing feeling in the world. I sat on the edge of my bed and unfurled my large beautiful wings. I'm a snow owl Faunus,and my animal characteristic is a pair of wings each with a wingspan of about three feet. The feathers are a beautiful Snow White with gold speckles all over them,I stood up and walked over to my dresser and took a plain white shirt and tossed it on my bed then a pair of white jeans,socks,and underwear. I then pulled out a towel and walked down the hallway to the bathroom to take a shower. As I walked into the familiar room decorated to look like a winter forest the smell of pine filled my nose,I placed my towel down and turned the shower handle to the middle and felt the warm water with my hand. "Perfect!" I said to myself with a smile,I dropped my pajama bottoms and stepped into the shower and felt the water cascade down my body. I grabbed by body wash and began to cleanse myself,I washed all the soap off my body and started to clean my wings next it was a bit difficult but I managed to clean them entirely. I turned the shower off and stepped out and onto the soft mat on the floor and looked at myself in the mirror,I grabbed my towel and dried my (H/C) hair off then wrapped it around my waist and walked down the hallway back to my room. I dried the rest of my body and wings off and started to get dressed,and boy let me tell you putting a shirt on with wings is not an easy feat I don't know how my mom and dad do it there wingspans are almost triple mine. I walked out of my room and went downstairs to greet the rest of my family they were gathered at the table eating breakfast. "Good morning (Y/N)." My mom said from the kitchen how she knew I was there before she even saw me always dumbfounds me. "Good morning mom,dad." I said as I took a seat at the table,my mom emerged from the kitchen with three plates in hand her long white hair in a bun and wings perked up behind her,hers were white with brown tips. She then placed a plate in front of me and then my father his short brown hair was messy as always and his wings were draped over the chair he was in his wings were white and had the same gold speckles as mine but not as many he looked up and gave me his signature bright smile,my mother then sat and began to eat with us. "So I take it astral and paradise left for training already." I said with a strip of bacon in my mouth Astral and Paradise are my older brother and sister aka the twins their nineteen,two years older than me. "Yes they both woke up at dawn and left." My father said as he read the news on his scroll. "They wanted you to join them but someone wouldn't allow it since their in advanced training." He added as he looked at my mother and smirked. "How could I let him go my baby bird can't leave the nest yet." Mom said as she pulled me closer to her using one of her massive wings. "Mom stoooop I'm seventeen I'm not a baby anymore I can handle myself." I said as I struggled to get out of her grasp,I returned to my seat. " I'm a strong boi did you see how I took down that Beowulf in the forest the other day." I said as I flexed my arms and spread my wings, "yes and you had me scared half to death." She stated while placing a hand over her chest. "He showed no fear and didn't get hit at all that's my boy!" My dad said excited. "Well I suppose he did handle the situation perfectly." Mother stated with a hint of proudness in her voice I smiled and finished the rest of my food. I took my plate to the sink and washed it then headed outside I opened the door and was greeted with a cool wind and a blanket of snow covering the ground. My family lived in the northern part of mistral in a large log cabin in the forest about a mile from the nearest town unbothered by humans, we had the latest Grimm suppression system so the Grimm never bothered us unless we bothered them. The cold air felt amazing on my wings I flapped them and the snow around me was blown all over the place,a snowflake landed on my nose it slightly tickled and I giggled as it melted, I walked of to the shed where all our weapons are stored and opened the door and saw my beauty Tranquil Evergreen

"Hello sexy."I said as I grabbed it off it's rack and and admired it's components and design who knew I could make something so pretty,I slung it over my shoulder and walked back to the house."I'm going out to train I'll be back in a few!" I yelled into the house. "Be careful!" I heard both my parents yell as I ran into the yard and began to flap my wings. In a few short seconds my feet were lifted off the ground and I was in the air,I began to fly towards towards the training area that my family established in the woods. As I grew nearer I could hear the sounds of fighting,I perched up on a near by branch and watched my older siblings as they took down Grimm after Grimm,I saw an alpha Beowulf sneaking up behind My brother Astral I positioned myself in the tree and lined up my shot I held by breath and held Tranquil Evergreen steady "breath in." I thought to myself BANG "breathe out." I said to myself.
