KYUNGWON IS... TIMID. HARDWORKING. UNEASY AROUND STRANGERS. RESERVED. FAMILY ORIENTATED. EASILY SCARED. LACKS PASSION FOR MOST THINGS. HIGH MAINTENANCE. OBSESSED WITH FIRST IMPRESSIONS. SOFT SPOKEN. CRIES EASILY. PERFECTIONIST. AFRAID TO BE ABANDONED.
BORN on November 2nd, 1998 in Sacheon, South Korea. Kyungwon's family fell in with the working class, her parents often having to rely on odd jobs to make ends meet for Kyungwon and her two younger siblings. They grew up in a fairly small apartment, two bedrooms in total housing the five member household. Despite the lack of money going around, the family made the best of it with occasional outings on paydays and even luxuries being passed around between the five of them when they could be afforded. A majority of nights Kyungwon was expected to watch over her other siblings, helping the girl develop a bit of responsibility for both herself and others. Although it did impact the amount of time she spent with friends, she had no issues helping her parents out when they'd provided tirelessly for her.
EVERYTHING had gone smoothly up until middle school. She didn't have many friends, not even near a handful, but one in particular had been extremely close to her. She went by Boa, a cute nickname due to her resemblance to the famous pop singer. Kyungwon had known Boa since fifth grade where the two built an inseperable bond. They did everything together. Sleepovers, playdates, class projects, anything and everything they did was with each other. Boa meant a lot to Kyungwon, a lot more than anyone else she'd ever met and it was a friendship she found herself falling back on quite a lot. Boa was bold and extroverted, the exact opposite of her much more timid best friend. She didn't know what she would do without her, but she'd soon learn. After a nasty divorce between the girl's parents Boa left to move to Japan with her father, leaving Kyungwon all alone.
AFTER that Kyungwon kept to herself. She had no issue with being alone, but losing someone so important to her left her a mess. She found making new friends hard and was terrified by the idea of how fleeting a friendship could be. She focused on her family from then on, friendships being put on the back burner for the time being. Her focus stayed on her studies at school, allowing her grades to be taken from Cs to As. The only class she really struggled in was Literature, but even there she managed to scrape by with Cs and Bs. By the time she graduated high school she was the top of her class and ready to move onto college where she was set on the idea of reinventing herself.
